Traditional ASMR: Dice
Added 2024-03-07 15:52:21 +0000 UTCmy hands are back on camera again. this time i've got some lovely crinkly packages full of dice to share with you.
i started this video rambling for a while about my microphone and stuff, so if you'd prefer to get straight to the crinkly tingles jump to 3:20. also, as i was working with quite reflective things for part of it, i wore a mask to protect my identity. you can see this as a kinda spooky looking reflection in some parts of the video. sorry about that!! hope the tingles make it worthwhile. i really love the sounds those dice packets make...
coming this weekend: either the next part of the Gale audio, or maybe a sequel to the Elf Ranger series. i haven't decided yet. perhaps let me know? i might do a poll.

I've been very much enjoying having your voice and the ASMR sounds in the background while doing my otherwise incredibly dull office job and I figure I should comment and not just like everything. This was a delight (even if I did get a bit distracted from working to enjoy the dice). Thank you for your hard work on everything you do!

2024-03-08 12:48:20 +0000 UTCGranted, I've never played a table-top game, but I think my favorite dice set is the Economy Potion of Healing set. They're a very dark, dark evergreen interspersed with sparkles (looks a bit like a universe) - the gold numbers are lovely and really stand out nicely. My next favorite is the Ardent Aggro set ... though I feel that one would have been better with black numbers (red, black, and white are a great combo). I agree that the gold numbers do not stand out as well and might be hard to read. Of the sounds, my favorite between the crinkling of the packs, the handling of the dice, and then the rolling of the dice into the tray, I really, really liked the crinkling of the packs before and after you opened them. The one-two combo of your soothing voice with the crinkling of the packs is some good ASMR. :) I will also admit to wanting to pet the dice tray. xD
