They were all so good honestly. Ypsilon is what hooked me into MysterQuest. Mausritter, Cyborg, PirateBorg and Discworld we're all S tier for me

We can give you feedback, but like a painter or writer you'll always see the construction and small patches of how it was made. I felt your self critique was fair and accurate, which many people can't do, and of course the goal of it is to improve. I don't think you need to delete the ones you don't like, the same way you encourage us Pile Gobbos to keep our 1st painted minis to show how far we have come. The editing has become a highlight in it's own right (see Rav's costume change in Delta Green & scene perfect sound effects), and the diversity of game play/systems another top point and draw for the channel. Having the gauntlet style on main was needed to help show the range of the systems people can play, and the Frozen Ascent was a lovely epilogue that was much appreciated no matter how we got it. Yes, re-running scenarios every now and again would be fun, esp with the same people too see what they don't remember, but I think your list of idea has years worth of content as it is. All in all, as long as you are all having fun, so are the viewers. The reason we keep comming back is because you and the MQ team have some serious talent. Thankyou for all your efforts.

2025-12-28 17:53:33 +0000 UTCI've enjoyed all the Mystery Quests episodes. If I had to rank them my S tier would be Delta Green, Alien, and Dino Island. And the recent CoC Dark Ages scenario was pretty great to.

2025-12-28 13:53:37 +0000 UTCFantastic retrospective! My only thought is that I would really encourage you to keep "the Disintigrator" available in some form. Actual plays have been great for teaching GMs how to engage players etc. but I do fear that it can give the impression that people are naturally perfect GMs who never have anything go wrong. I listened to Mystery Quest in reverse order from the Cy_Borg episode and was amazed by Tom's control of pacing. I thought to myself "I've been doing this for two decades and I can't do that! I guess he's just got an inherent talent for it." Then listening to Disintigrator I realized that it was something he developed over time, which honestly inspired me to think more deeply about the pacing of my own games. (Also, other than the rushed ending, I rather liked Disintigrator! Fun characters doing wacky and dangerous stuff!) Anyway it's often that sense of humanity and realism that makes me a lot more likely to listen to Mystery Quest than say Critical Role, and the Disintigrator supports that.

2025-12-26 19:58:48 +0000 UTCI agree with pretty much everything, even though games I run can't even reach the standards of C tier on this list. Delta Green was absolutely THE S of the S tier! That series encapsulated the atmosphere and feel of The X-Files better than most of The X-Files episodes.

I would put Mausritter and the Grotten 1-shots as solid A's. Super enjoyable and a great way to get in a quick watch with Grotten... Thank you all so much!
