done with this one, finally.
lowpoly was a pain as predicted, around 4 days of work for that, normally it takes me like 1 for most basic items. Then again, it was a complex item with complex folds that had to be done mostly by hand. Thanks to doing it by hand though, this is surprisingly very low poly/ well optimized, considering it has a full inside too. I think it was only about 27k tris total.
texturing also was annoyingly time consuming, though more straightforward. Unfortunately even at 4k texture size, this is not as sharp as I'd like, overall texel density is down because of the inside occupying uv space. Still, it will do fine for gameplay and most screenshotting, as long as you don't get very close to it.
keep in mind that the jacket is made out of satin (or at least that's what I read it as from my references) which is a kinda like a semi-metallic-ish surface. Long story short, this will probably get butchered in FO4's engine and look a bit different ingame, similar to the SY outfit I released previously, but actually even worse than that one, since I can't "cheat" this time. It is what it is without proper pbr support, not much to be done about it, but I at least like to mention it when the presentation renders get a bit too different than what you might get ingame.
