I went back to find an update on the Webtoon and while looking, I read a few chapters that I really like. Seeing this after having read those, I have a lot more hope when it comes to Nao and Souta. It's been so obvious in the past that they're infatuated with each other; I find it especially hard to believe that Nao would ever willingly ditch Souta for Arashi. I'm so excited/nervous to see how the upcoming scenes (especially the ferris wheel) play out!! (I am also going to reread the entire series and hope that builds up even more anticipation)

I really feel for Souta, and you can tell Nao senses something is off with him. I’m glad he’s pulling him aside to talk to him, but I have a feeling that Souta is going to lie and say he’s fine. maybe im digging deep but i really love the fact that in some ways arashi parallels souta’s character. like an upbeat “lets go gang” kind of goofy girl. i think that souta’s conflict of “oh he’s a boy and im a boy so we cant be together” makes her role a little ironic. i like to think that how she acts with nao is how souta would act/would want to act with nao if things were different, and all the while its so obvious that nao is still focused on souta despite her attempts like OMG like nao would sacrifice normalcy for souta i cant take it anymore

I feel like… if there is any chance of there being a half confession in this arc then it HAS to be from Nao. It feels like Aina is building up to it because Nao just wants to spend time with Souta. But because of this whole situation, Souta is going to push Nao away. This will make Nao angry and sad until eventually, Nao admits that he likes spending time with Souta more than Arashi and more than anyone else. I feel like, if we were to get a half confession this would be it. What do you think?
