Do you want/like WIP Art in game betas?
Added 2020-01-06 11:40:04 +0000 UTCI personally put them so I can get "sketch" out segments of the story or certain scenes of the game, but I've heard some opinions of just not having them in, so I wanted to see what you guys thought. If most people really prefer seeing cleaned out sketches in the game as I go along, then I won't change anything. If most of you don't, then I'll see what I can do.
Keep in mind, I won't be able to work on all the art I have planned right away, because I would prefer fleshing out the game itself and adjust the storyboard as I go along. My plan of working on all the art after the game is mostly done still stands. It's a matter of getting things done in a timely matter as art is, while fun, time consuming.
Someone mentioned doing a slightly higher tier on Patreon with limited slots where I show deeper insight into the game, art ideas, more direct feedback (a more private channel on Discord), etc. It's not how I am used to doing things but I could be open to the option if a lot of people are interested in something like that.
