Sisters of the cave
Added 2025-08-31 14:37:53 +0000 UTCTwo sisters lived in a cave by the forest. Kaelen, dark-haired and fierce, loved the hunt, vanishing each day with her bow. Elira, golden-haired and gentle, gathered herbs and filled the cave with flowers.
They were opposites, yet bound by love: Kaelen brought warmth and food, Elira brought healing and peace. One winter night, as snow trapped them inside, Kaelen grew restless until Elira’s quiet song stilled her.
In the flicker of firelight, hunter and dreamer leaned together—strength and tenderness keeping the darkness away.
Sometimes I have a really hard time deciding on the color grading of my photos. Do I edit each photo separately or do I match my Instagram feed (which recently I like a lot and don't want to ruin it)? This time I wanted to show you both. First few photos is how I would edit this set and the second part matches my Instagram feed more.
Which route would you advise me to go in the future?

Yeah, I definietly agree with you. I need to fight my inner perfectionist but I got a lot better with that 😅

Most people aren't looking at the consistency of your feed as a measure of your worth as an artist and if they do, that's on them. I do miss a bit of storytelling in this set, but perhaps that's on me ;). Great location though!
