Added 2025-06-20 21:07:51 +0000 UTCI don't usually post early, but it's the last major content update, I might as well! The bottleneck to further work is no longer time, it's my energy, so I'm ready to get this out there.
UPDATE
Alright, due to the courtyard bug (and the fact that Grim8P and Annikath intend to stream) I'm going to put out a cleanup build. I believe this fixes all reported bugs, plus updates some dialogue and tweaks minor things. There will be later builds that focus more on adding content, including based on suggestions/feedback so far.

- The world has been fully updated for the postgame. This is the last major content update!
- The SFW toggle has been fixed and restored, giving you the option to pixelate all NSFW images, including sprites, portraits, and battlers.
- All remaining battle busts are complete: Sho, Antarion, Doom King (two versions!), Prison Simon, Orcent, Impaler, Grubbak, Implevon, Ralke, Balia's quest orcs (x4)
- 16 new sex scenes
- 4 new illustrated scenes: Yarra + Fuani, Orilise + Lynine, Reunited, and Wendis + Wynn

If you're the type of person who wants to play only once, skip this and play the .2 version or so. On the other hand, if you want to have an influence on the postgame, please feel free, and I welcome suggestions for how it can be further improved!
Here are my general goals for the postgame:
1) Continuity: no lines that are inappropriate or outdated. I've done my best here, but since there are hundreds of potentially incorrect events, even if I was 99.9% accurate, some will have slipped through.
2) I want players to feel like there's something interesting to find around every corner, so their exploration is worth it. I'm sure I could do even more with this.
3) No loose ends. Now, I don't mean that literally, but I tried to include all kinds of secondary and tertiary NPCs. If there's anyone you wanted to see and don't, bring them up!
4) I'd like to do more alternate events/locations/NPCs based on the player's choices. This is where I feel I've fallen short of my goals.
5) Related, I'd like more easter eggs. Many of the events currently in the game will be obtained by anyone with an optimized save, which I think is appropriate, but I also want to include more quirky little results of offbeat decisions.
(As a subgoal, I'm also worried about potentially breaking past sections, so I hope some players will use this build for their playthroughs, if they're planning to start new ones.)
Guys... I fear this update may be buggy. =/ I was pouring everything into trying to add more stuff to the postgame, and while I allotted adequate time to testing, I didn't reserve adequate energy. I was so burned out at the end, I'm afraid this isn't tested up to standard. Just recently I realized that all the work I put into remaking the Zirantian slums was inaccessible because I didn't change the transfer events... what things did I miss?
I don't know, it feels bad to be collapsing over the finish line, but there's a lot of stuff in there that I hope you all enjoy. And as I've mentioned various places, I'll be taking more time with this one until it's completely up to snuff.
Known issues:
I have only placeholder credits.
The base courtyard doesn't fade the player in properly.
I think there are some things that don't account for true disaster runs.
Let me end on a positive note: the number of maps in the game went from 938 to 972 in this build! Yes, some of those are duplicates or small, but I hope that's an indicator of how much work I've put into this. Lots of maps that couldn't previously change have gotten a new coat of paint depending on your choices, and there are some new places to visit.

Oh man, it's both good and bad for these to drop on the day I'm trying to finish another release. >_< >Good to see they fixed up Throne of Lust! Though the investment did claim to be for 700,000 ProN for a new palace, I suppose a memorial is good too. Although checking the HQ teleporter, access to the repaired Throne of Lust happens as long as you have Rodak over 50? Pretty sure I just didn't have the investment in mind while configuring. Since you're opening the game, can you tell me exactly where this investment is and what switch it uses?

That will be before all the scenes are illustrated, but after I do some further polishing.

2025-06-27 03:01:31 +0000 UTCAs someone who's enjoyed (And proselytized about) this game since before the 3 way path split, lo those many years ago, I can say nothing but praise for your long and determined struggle to get to this point. because, Good Lords, this has been one heck of a project XD Even George R.R. Martin is sitting there going "dang, that's a door stop." (and frankly, I think your saga is better than his) (Any thoughts on doing a screen play and getting HBO to produce it? Only half joking XD ) I look forward to whatever is in store for the last .19.9 you have waiting in the wings before we hit version 1.0, but take a victory lap, you earned it.
