January 15 Update

Won't say much more about the content of it, as I figure people already know whether they're interested. But I did want to share this:

This is a new all time record for me! Actually, the sales ranking got as high as #260, but even now after falling a bit it's still higher than the record set back in 2019. By default that also means it's higher than the peak of the previous book in the series. This is opposite the usual trend for series and a good sign.

If anyone has Amazon Prime or Kindle Unlimited, please consider paging through the book! This is free for users, but each pageread helps me, plus based on current numbers I have a realistic shot at being one of the top KU books for January. That isn't to stroke my ego: the KU top list involves cash compensation and algorithmic impact.

Amid all the fervor over rankings and sales, it's nice to have the completely unrelated TLS work to keep me grounded. Current status:

• One of the harem quests is 100% done! Not tested, but the content is all there.
• I am going full tilt on two of the other checkmarks. These are necessary to tie together a lot of other work, unlike some others that could be deferred.
• Like that implies, there's an odd quest out. Still hope to include it in TLS 0.65.0.
• I am receiving some help from patrons on the especially work-intensive part of the portraits feature. Hope to report good things next week.
• Annikath finished another set of scenes! I actually should have done a $10 post this week, I just realized, but was distracted. So once I get those integrated, the update will have art in addition to the portraits.
