April 17 Update
Added 2022-04-17 23:05:11 +0000 UTCThis period is always odd. I know that people are playing thousands of hours of my work based on Steam analytics, but I know little about those hours. There are some reviews I'm very grateful for, a few threads/comments, and a little Discord chatter. That's a tiny fraction of the total human reaction - that's normal for any creative work, but it still feels odd.
How is the game doing? It's selling faster than my previous releases and it isn't a breakout hit. It's too early to say anything more than that. There are general trends that, though it would be possible to use them for estimates, can't be modeled with enough precision to give relevant answers.
So fingers remain crossed. Negative reactions have come in, but no negative reviews yet, which is unusual. If you enjoy this sort of thing, please feel free to interact with various elements of the Steam page. Maybe it helps... algorithms? More seriously, the next threshold that has any known mechanical benefit is 50 reviews, and that will likely take a while.
Anyway, all of that is still ongoing. I'll just leave this a relaxed update with some more lovely fanart. Look at Aka and Yarra! They seem "relaxed", for certain values of relaxed. ^-^
