The changes to this are largely minor fixes, but there are also some inclusions of new bonuses. Tak'Kan is a little easier if you've invested heavily in it and there's more RP for various characters. Unless some kind of terrible bug is found, this should be the final balance for the war.

Yes, you can try a controller if you have one. Controller support is not guaranteed, but I suspect the xbox is more likely to work than the Playstation (and Playstation controllers especially have varying degrees of support on Windows). You may have to use some software like Antimicro to emulate keyboard presses with the controller, rather than it being plug'n'play.
