TLS 0.59.0 Released!

TLS 0.59.0
- New segment finishing the Incubus War.
- Minor edits to the prison content.
- New scenes, the number depending on how you count them.
- Art exists for 14 new scenes, but to make my release window, it was deferred. Expect it to be added to the .1 or .2 update.
Hmm, what to say about this one? It's the culmination of the entire war and setting up for the final endgame stage. It has one element I don't know how people will take (mentioned earlier) and a lot of things I'm hopeful that players will really enjoy.
There's usually a disclaimer that the background math is preliminary and likely to change, but this time I should add that the variable checks are more demanding than usual. In several cases, I ran out of time and energy to refine the ranges for multiple saves. The intent is to soften the requirements after the numbers-oriented people have time to look through everything.
I'm also opening to shifting some things across the entire war. I'm virtually certain that there are switches I added to the 0.57 content that weren't properly accounted for. There are also some bonuses for player research, some exactly as planned, but I found myself feeling like I missed an opportunity not including more benefits for different research projects in the first half of the war. As always, I try to avoid past tweaks, but the goal is the best final game.
Anyway, with all of this in the air, it's possible that this one will require more iterations and take two weeks to go public. But that aside, there's a lot of payoff in this update that I hope people enjoy!

Okay, I have made my best effort to address everything brought up so far. There are a few questions in the chain above, and some people have yet to leave feedback, but I hope the majority of the work for the .1 version is in place. Further tweak suggestions are still welcome, as I should be able to meet my deadline tomorrow regardless. Anyone seeing this, I advise waiting until the update, unless the questions or tweaks issues mentioned above apply to you.

2022-01-14 04:41:39 +0000 UTCA viable suggestion, but I intend to stick with what I said about the shard choice not being too involved in minmaxing. It already grants significant affection for characters who may be behind and I don't want to push it much beyond that.
