July 25 Update

With the update going smoothly (more on that later) and no more maps to approve, I guess we can have a more relaxed weekly update for once! This time I want to take a while to highlight several pieces of fanart I've received.

First, we have three OEA characters! Local patron Argo the Ratfolk has been commissioning these from his friend Frostbaaite.
Next, there have been pieces of TBS fanart that I hadn't noticed because I've been so focused. I put a compiled one here, but there are more at the sub. I'm fine with anime-inspired art styles, but it's nice to see something a bit different.
Lastly, a sleeping Ulfina. This one was actually posted earlier, but it is very cute. ^-^

Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised that TLS 0.57.0 isn't horribly buggy. It was one of the more complicated updates I've done created under some of the worst conditions, so this is a minor miracle. Every update involves a mixture of enthusiasm and discipline, but this one felt like it was built in blood.

Obviously I couldn't take much of a break this weekend, but as feedback winds down I intend to take a day off at some point. I've said this will take two weeks for the public release (if not three), so hopefully that will all come together free of stress. Expect a more polished 0.57.1 eventually and further balance considerations later.

My next main goal is still TLS 0.58.0, but other issues have crept up on me due to the extended development period. At some point there will be a final OEA trailer and a Newgrounds demo of that. Maybe some book launches. Hopefully these can go through during lulls in the usual cycle and everything can continue smoothly.
