Hello Sierra. I recently finished my first time with TLS and absolutely fell in love with your game. No wonder that right after the first playthrough I decided to start from the beginning but this time I decided to look for some information and see if I missed something. This is how I found TLS wiki, I started browsing it and ... after 10 minutes of reading I needed Qum to help me find my jaw (by the way - one of my favorite jokes in the game) It was not hard to guess that my decisions have different consequences for the future, but I had no idea how complicated it all was. All these hidden stats and variables - reading wiki is like looking into the basis of reality. All of this has made my respect for your work triple.

It sounds like your week was a bit all over the place at best which sucks to hear. I hope things pick up for you. Here are some random thoughts that are my attempt to assist: > but they've pushed sales of the first book actually higher than the new one If a sequel got onto my radar somehow, and it looked interesting / the reviews for the first book looked good, I would personally go pick the first book up and hold off on the second. I'm sort of surprised you haven't seen this before but I'm not sure how many people would do the same. My wife has officially entered chapter 4 in TLS. We're both still having a ton of fun playing together. I enjoy that I'm seeing some new content because we've made different decisions and I also get to see some art that didn't exist when I played through. She loved the results of Qum's research project. Boop! This is honestly one of my favourite scenes in the entire game if not my actual favourite. Off the top of my head, the only other strong contender is Sarai's introduction which still kills me even when I watch my friends play (direct stream like via Discord, no Twitch or anything). I also convinced two additional friends to give TLS a shot! This makes 7 people I've introduced the game to which makes me happy. Regarding looking forward to new TLS content, I am super excited, but take your time. As much as I want it as soon as possible I'm happy to wait for quality. I hope your next few updates are happy ones for you.

Maybe it is because english is not my native language, but this sentance make me fell like you encounter personnal problems. I hope you are "only" talking about the current situation that is stressfull for everyone and that you have no personnal problems.

Don't be disappoint if it push the first book sales than it means you got new readers that once they finish the first book they will get the second later.

Is your second book planned to get a physical release? I have the first one and the novella in paperback and would prefer to have physical copies for all of them.

Some of both, but I wouldn't call the latter particularly useful, at least for me. Some examples: "while I enjoyed the game/basic premise would prefer some more work done with the CGs. Not enough there to fap to so to speak" "If you're going to make this an adult game the more realistic the scenes both sexual and non sexual the better. That means animation, voice acting and maybe even controls during both. Gotta be honest images don't really do it for me anymore its gotta be full on motion or sound. I will say the writing for the scenes should be out of the way for the action on screen."

RPGMaker makes large animals like cows pretty difficult to work with. Someone's probably made sprites for them somewhere, but do they fit into the game? It's easier to spot clashes in art style any time you're working with sprites larger than the standard one tile. Horses are difficult too. We've seen them in some cavalry scenes, and attached to the fronts of carts, but otherwise they tend to stay out of sight, probably because sprite resources for horses are just scarce and complicated to work with. It's hard to find a middle ground between "looks silly" and "too much trouble to integrate into RPGMaker's tile-based maps." I'd assume cows just stay offscreen, since there's less call for the protagonists ever to interact with them directly than horses.

Pd: It is funny but it seems no one noticed in the comic "Demon Friend" that there is no cows in TLS, there is A DOG, bears, wolfs, slimes, horses, cocks, pigeons and pussycats but no one saw rabbits, cows ,pigs, chickens, not even in the farm.No bulls either.
