April 18 Update
Added 2021-04-18 18:32:01 +0000 UTCNew TLS update is out for $5 backers. Feedback has been pretty positive so far, but I haven't really gotten many bug reports, so I'm going to hold off on 0.56.1 and make it an overall polish update.
Now, I do have lots of maps and stuff for feedback, but first look at the lovely Qum above! This wasn't a commission, Annikath just drew it for fun. The above is only the first version, so check out her Twitter for the other three variants.

Before the maps, check out an Ingrid that I didn't actually ask for. The sprite artist got confused between characters, and instead of making a new Ulfina, made some edits to Ingrid. This one is bustier, but not much... any thoughts? If this one is off in some way, I'll need to ask for my requested changes to be made to the old one.
Lastly, please provide feedback on OEA maps if you have any:
- Infected Dungeon: This is a complete redesign, mostly done by me. The idea was instead of another standard interior dungeon, you're seeing a Tale being swamped by poison.
- Violent Flowers: Based on the negative feedback on the old flowers, we tried some tweaks and desaturation. What do you think of this potential set?
- Violent Cavern: Just a cave, but check the new wolves with glowing eyes!
- Violent Cabin: We went back and forth on pillars/rafters vs clearer scene and ended up with this.
- Void: Just a brief interstitial map. The recolored background is meant to represent the violence, but is it too much?
- Cheerful Maps: More of the same aesthetic, really.

Yes, the background should move. Expect to see some of those changes in the new version of the map, because we've already iterated a bit on it.

2021-04-20 23:14:28 +0000 UTCI could swear I posted this earlier, not sure if I imagined it or if Patreon's spam filter is being overenthusiastic again... The new Ingrid battler sheet looks fine to me - the old version didn't look bad, but the new version is a bit more consistent in bust size across the different variants. Her sleep/poison status loops are also now more consistent with the other characters. The Cheerful Tale maps look improved - the subtle variation and patterning of the tree placement means it looks more organic while still being eerily ordered; more like managed forestry than a wild wood. Together with the godrays and the dancing flowers, I think they do a good job of conveying the overbearing tweeness. The Void seems OK, although it's difficult to gauge how the transparent edges will interact with the moving background (assuming the background does move?). I like the beam partially blocking the gore around the bed in the Violent cabin, since it leads the mind to imagine further horrors behind it. The wolf cavern with the glowing eyes is appropriately eerie, although it might be difficult to see the details on screens with poor contrast or black levels. The new version of the Violent Woods looks good with all the sharp shadows, and I think the flower samples would be an improvement, since they're more varied and reminiscent of poisonous berries. I like the new concept for the Infected Dungeon; it gives an impression of a Tale in the process of dying and sinking into the firmament. The terrain needs its corners rounded off, as mentioned by Decanter; I also think the flooded buildings should show some signs of rot/decay, with the ones on still land perhaps having mouldy or fungal growths instead.

2021-04-19 11:31:56 +0000 UTCNew Violent flowers... I mean, the Easter egg ones are gonna look like eggs until they stop being egg-shaped, but the others look fine. Cave and cabin look good. Void looks fine. Happyville looks very pleasant. I especially like the fountain and window flowers. Swamp area looks okay except I have a similar problem with the coastlines as before, only worse because these literally have right angles. I like the concept for the map at least.

On that note, what the heck!? is that bottom row image 5 in from the left. Right above the page number 2/12 for me, looks like someone reaching in to rub Ingrid's crotch?
