May 5 Update

Doing a game release and a novel release in the same weekend is a bit rough, but the alternatives would lead to my schedule being weirdly stretched out and I want to keep working on stuff because I enjoy that creative work.

Being a bit tired, though, I'll delay a couple of more in-depth posts. At some point I'll make $10 posts about ideas for the New Game Minus characters that are on the cutting room floor, plus a post updating people on my current long term thoughts.

Even though release work made it difficult to write, I did get non-release stuff done this past week. All the characters in Once Ever After now have custom sprites instead of placeholders, for example. I've also found a tileset artist who is the rare mix of quality and speed. Finally, I have some neat concept art for various works that I will share with everyone in time.

For now, though, I look forward to returning to my core creative work. The rest is up to algorithms.

I'm fairly sure it's where I want it. The return might be less than other investments, but if it gave points/rewards equivalent to a bunch of investments combined, it wouldn't be much of a challenge to come up with that much money. Otherwise, all I'll say is that getting it won't seem optional to those who want perfect games at the end.

So... Sierra. Sure the New Givini dungeon isn't overpriced? I mean the country bonuses are very small and most characters are already maxed at this point in the game so the +2's don't make much of a difference. Unique equipment is nice and so is getting a new piece of the Incubus King armor. But for 5 million Pron you could invest in Givini Tunnels, The Givini Mage Guild, Orc Democracy, Yhilini Airships AND Airship Militarization. By comparison the dungeon seems... unprofitable. Unless you plan to make unique equipment somehow vital in future parts i don't see how the cost differences add up.

If you like the first book so far, hopefully you'll enjoy the rest! Thanks for giving it a try. ^-^

Great work! Thank you for New game minus. My friends were talking about litrpgs a lot recently. I wanted to get acquainted with this genre but I have read too many negative things about it either. So... you've finished your litrpg trilogy. I like finished things. I like your writing. Right now I'm enjoying first book! Thanks for the sale, by the way. I've purchase first and second books. Thank you for your hard work and for creating wonderful stories! P.S. And after reading I'm in mood to unlock last optional dangeon in TLS and collect all death energy from the enemies. For our box overlords!

Andrey Kulikov

Thanks! I'm hoping it will give the game some visual personality.

Anyone who has messed around with the tile art in RPGmaker knows exactly how time consuming that can be. I'm looking forward to what the new artist makes.
