March 3 Update
Added 2019-03-03 22:28:13 +0000 UTCThe first build of Once Ever After is up for $10 patrons right now! Since this is a larger chunk of gameplay than usual, the process isn't moving as quickly, so I'm not sure exactly how it will go. People will keep giving feedback, I'll keep working on it, and hopefully in the end this will be another side project everyone can enjoy.
Aside from that, I'm working on editing a novel. That wasn't my original plan, but this book has the interest of a moderately big name in self-published fantasy and I don't want to miss a rare opportunity to reach more people. Will update you guys if that develops.
I go through a pretty predictable cycle: creating stuff makes me happy, then doing market research makes me depressed. I'm getting through the second phase of that cycle at the moment, so I hope to be able to dive back into pure creation soon.

2019-03-04 17:08:16 +0000 UTCIt was 100% delayed until the TLS Steam release, due to necessary edits for that, then pushed somewhat lower by other work. Writing not so much, but Once Ever After uses the same RPG parts of my brain.

2019-03-04 05:17:13 +0000 UTCI'm actually a bit uncertain about what you experienced here. If the wolf battler had an exclamation mark, then I'm puzzled. If it was the sprite in the background, the screen gets frozen when the battle starts.

2019-03-04 01:23:57 +0000 UTClol probably a placeholder, but in Wolf Blight with Wilhelm and Ulfina, I encountered a wolf with an explanation mark over his head. The "!" persisted through combat, even though the wold died on round 1. Wolfbite for the win!
