September 2 Update
Added 2018-09-02 21:24:37 +0000 UTCOkay, September is going to be a rough month for me. I've gotten hit with a lot of things at the same time, from business issues to some family stuff. Patreon having more financial problems doesn't help - apologies to everyone having bank issues again.
It won't be entirely miserable, though. September will also be busy due to some positive things that I've been working on. I think pushing forward with those as best I can is the best option.
For this post I want to focus on one of the positive things - Crimson Gray: Dusk and Dawn. I haven't talked about it for a while, but I've been quietly doing rewrites, commissioning the remaining assets, and pushing a build through the Steam approval process. I'm happy to announce that all of those aspects are done!
So essentially, I can release the game at the time when I feel it's ready - that is, after all the $10 patrons have time to play it and provide feedback. The main reason I haven't released it yet is because I've been holding time free to work on something else that will have a hard deadline.
But yes, please expect the patron release this month, with the Steam release following a reasonable amount of time after that!
Two unrelated things:
1) Since I was encouraged to promote my work on TF Games, I have made a thread and database entry there. If you are a user of those, I would appreciate a positive rating!
2) Finally, the above image is some lovely fanart from Annikath, who you may remember from the Yarra/Qum scene. There is actually more art, including several variants of Nalili, so check out my Tumblr and HentaiFoundry. This was a pleasant surprise. ^-^

Anyway, thank you for the encouragement! I feel certain things will be easier after this month, but I hope to finish some meaningful content this month as well.

I hope this doesn't seem utterly mercenary, but I wonder if pointing out any of those things would make anyone on TF Games more likely to try it? I know the game isn't necessarily a perfect fit for the site, but I put it there in the hopes that people will try it and become interested in the writing. Regarding lore, humans can use lust magic, there's just a strong custom against it on Arclent. Trin, for example, uses some lust magic in her ability. You'll see more of this in the future.

It has one of the best game search engines as far as adult gaming sites go when you want to find RPG Maker games with a lot of likes and I hoped to find more games like TLS with it. But from what I've seen from other popular games there and forums you might want to point out that: - The protagonist is a middle aged man and while he has potential to change his body (as mentioned by Yarra early in the game that he could make himself look young if he wanted) he choses not to. He sees himself as old man and stays old man. Similar for dominating others - he can but he does not. We're playing the good guy there (who sometimes murders people to get some wine). There are some people in the world that do that though, but they're usually villians to be defeated. - The most prominent TF theme is futa and applies only* to succubi. There are also people transformed for war against succubi called unman that are "messed up down there". * - At least I don't remember anyone besides them using futa spell. Come to thing, can humans even use kust magic? We've got already have theoritical divine mage, wonder If there could me celibate theoritical lust mage in world of TLS.
