January 14 Update

Bad News: There are so many different parts to the next update. Gone are the days where my notes could be "Make that plot section you have in your head." Instead there are tons of different pieces that need to be finished. Quests and scenes and unique equipment and investments and so on, with more things being added as people report stuff.
Good News: Items are getting crossed off the list faster than I expected! Some of the new efficiency techniques I am trying this year are working well.
Bad News: The items I am crossing off are not the ones that are essential for the next release. Take the screenshot, which represents a finished event that you can guess the content of. I'm happy to have finally written it, and I hope people will enjoy. But for the next release I really need to finish content like the next round of research projects and more custom equipment for party members.
Unrelated Good News: I'm only waiting on 4 art assets for Desecration of Wings now. Commercial release of that doesn't happen when it hits zero or anything, I will probably be doing more TLS work, but that will at least be something I no longer need to wait on.

Incubus King, Widow Queen and Ivalan High Priestess of the Lost walk into a bar... Well, jokes aside. Wedding ceremony including incubus king performed by ivalan priestess. That's really interesting from political and/or religious perspective. Of course it's most likely not public, but still. It's good that progress is made. A few thoughts on the previous release. Overall it's been great. Lots of new developments, and it looks like Anak of Philon is shaping up to be Chapter 4 endboss. But we'll see, i guess. A year has passed since the war and we have no information on what Ginasta has been up to. No news from Esthera as well. Or Fheliel for that matter. I am wondering when will we see more from them.

2018-01-15 07:57:56 +0000 UTCYeah it's crazy, but I am genuinely happy to see Janine and Simon getting married. Yes, because they will inevitably consummate the marriage, which will be awesome. But even more so, I really feel for Janine. She has waited so long and been so patient and now she can truly not feel alone and be happy. I know she is needed in Yhilin, but I would love for her to one day be at the headquarters full time. On that note, I still love that this game is genuinely an outstanding game. I mean you could take out all of the sex (but I definitely don't want you to) and it would stand alone as an amazing game. I have told my friends it is essentially the Elder Scrolls or Mass Effect of porn. Where every decision made has so much impact. You are not just shaping your harem, but the world around you, and I love it! So yeah, long story short, keep up the great work, Sierra!

And then a minute later was like "Oh, hey, she's probably going to be unlocked as a proper harem member now!" And a minute after that: "Ooh, will she be able to play with the other girls?" So, concern about the characters > excited about more content > excited about possibility of content that suits my personal perversions. This is exactly the reverse order of my concerns for pretty much every other H-game.
