TLS 0.30.0 Released!
Added 2017-10-27 23:35:56 +0000 UTCUh... surprise? I wanted to release DoW to patrons this month, but it's stalled waiting on some art assets. But I've still been spending time on TLS, so we're getting an update now.

TLS 0.30.0
- Intro to chapter four.
- Base customization, expansion, and upgrading.
- One new plot sex scene.
- Many affection scenes are now available for the first time.
- Nine new synergy skills.
TLS 0.30.1
- General bugfixing. An expansion update may be coming, so this is mostly for new players.
NOTICE: This update does NOT have an endpoint! You cannot finish the quests you're given or retrieve some party members, though if you use the unlocker I mention below you will be able to see them again.
This is not a major plot update and will probably not take you guys long to finish, since the customizable base took up so much of my time. I considered delaying this release to finish more stuff, but decided against it. Better to show everyone the base, get feedback, and refine that aspect of the game before I start building too much on top of it.
I, uh, went overboard in some cases. For example, the party's library starts out mostly empty but grows over time - each bookshelf will be filled when specific conditions are met. This is not really important and took a bunch of time, but I hope it makes the base feel more alive.
Normally, an update requires 3-4 new pages of switches. Because of all the switches I needed to use for customization or hold as placeholders for future content, this one uses 16 new pages. o.O
Since most of the content would be locked away normally, I've added an event to the control room that will disable saving, but unlock everything. I hope you guys enjoy playing around with the various possibilities!
Please do provide feedback on the base mechanics once you've played, but I also have some specific questions:
1) Some customization options can be purchased, but others are unlocked via various means (like Simon being a certain level). How do you think I should announce those? I feel like messages might be too disruptive, but the new options just appearing obviously isn't good.
2) Do you think there's any worth to banners being unlockables? They're not unique enough for me to feel like they should be tied to specific regions or purchased. I did consider having them be unlocked by performing particularly well on specific segments, both past and present. Not so much because they're great rewards, but because it could give the control room a nice feeling of satisfaction for the player. That way even if you just want to use one banner, you can still see a little collection of accomplishments.
Yeah, anyway, let me know your thoughts! I may be AFK for a while, because this was quite a marathon to finish, but I look forward to hearing from everyone!
