January 8 Update

Originally I wanted to start 2017 with a huge Zirantian release, but I think a long delay leading to a larger-than-average release would be bad for my productivity. Instead, I hope I can get the first Zirantia release out next Friday. Fingers crossed.

Though it was harder to work through the holiday season than I expected, I've already gotten a lot of this done. Since we're visiting a new country, it's time to draw on new kinds of tiles. Zirantia has a distinctly different look than everywhere else you've visited so far and I've made a bunch of maps.

Of course, there are plenty of events to fill those maps too. Not only will the situation be introduced for both parties, you'll get some major developments on each side. But since everything about that is spoilers, have this screenshot that will explain nothing at all:

Another thing this release will include is a new party member! I've been wanting to do certain game mechanics things since the beginning and now we're finally getting to them. Though most of the party members have already joined, or at least been introduced, this one will be someone brand new, I'll be curious what everyone thinks of her. ^-^

Welp, that's enough of a preview, I should get back to work. I was hoping I could give the release date with 95% confidence, but I'm afraid right now it's more like 75%, things have been a little rough lately. But if all goes well, it's not so many days before the first TLS release of 2017!
