December 20 Update
Added 2015-12-20 18:33:34 +0000 UTCPenultimate post of the year, guys!
Question for everyone, please weigh in: do you have any requests or suggestions for the new scene replay system? This is custom coded and so I want to get it in finalized form before I go to all the work of adding every single scene in the game.
One request I've gotten so far is fading out the screen before showing any scene. That one I turned out to be able to do myself, but others might be more complex. Another request was to use NPC faces instead of the NPC placeholder. Feel free to weigh in either way on those two or speak up about your own issues. Though I think what we have is pretty good, now is definitely the time.
I've done a little work on the next version. I'll do some more over the coming days. I don't plan to take a formal break, I'm just going to take things a little easier for a bit. It should still be finished in a reasonable amount of time, I think, but that pace will let me relax a little over the holidays.

Huzzah on the suggestions, but I agree with your reasoning here. I have no idea about the new system but I'm of the "don't fix it if it isn't broken" school, especially in the face of Roundscape's constant retooling and redoing of the same stuff to the point where getting past part 1 is pointless between updates...rant aside, glad to here there won't be any overhauling.

2016-01-02 04:33:43 +0000 UTCAll suggestions welcome, but I'll jump in to answer the direct question. I have no plans to port TLS to MV, I'm afraid. The game has a lot of custom scripts, some of which were written just for this project, so there's no way it would transition smoothly. Adding in a number of mechanical changes between engines, we'd be looking at months of reworking during which the game wouldn't move forward at all. While we'd gain some things from porting it, I don't think they'd be worth that amount of time taken from the project.

2016-01-02 04:00:38 +0000 UTCI really like the idea of the other party members being able to tell they are on his mind. Honestly I'm not to concerned with the images/animated sprites. They are great in Noxian Nights but honestly I don't think they would really fit in well with TLS's look and feel. I'd much rather see more elaborate sex scenes (typed) and more random bits in the world. I think the face animations we already have (portraits) are enough. Also, Sierra are you planning on porting TLS over to MV? I'm not sure if you haven't already but the new side view combat is pretty awesome. Not to mention being able to have your party follow you around. 2016-01-01 23:40:27 +0000 UTCall i want is ANIMATED/DRAWN sex scenes, but i already asked that, and you'll need to find someone good within your price range. but adding the WHOLE character, instead of just the face, might be something? and as mentioned before me, by david frascella: affection points, might be cool.

2015-12-22 07:51:20 +0000 UTCThe fade out makes sense I suppose, keeps it from possibly clashing with the current environment. I don't think the NPC faces are needed since many of them were generic busts and it'd make things easier for you to simply use the place holder. To me it'd also cement the potency of "proper scenes" with named characters as it were, that Simon can remember their faces because they are important to him and the moments meant more. Going off from that, maybe the first time he brings a scene to mind as it were, a little text box and picture of the associated person going "Simon?" or something like that to show the connection he has with his lovers? Would adding an affection point to said person be too much? I figure the AP would be for them knowing they are on Simon's mind somehow and feeling touched he hasn't forgotten them.
