All right late comer in finishing but I was wondering are we going to find a way to eventually learn things that were missed in all the things we can learn like the unified strike and the learning how to use tentacles and stuff?

2016-01-04 06:09:25 +0000 UTCCertainly possible that some/all Chosen reanimate. I was also thinking it's possible that the Chosen's power endowment is recycled into a new Chosen unless it is bound by powerful magic. I believe the Chosen started appearing after the war ended, thus the Unmen/Unwomen happened first.

2015-12-29 01:42:49 +0000 UTCWell, the succubus said, "Anyway, the Lustlord said something about his power not being allowed to return and bound the corpse here, as if he thought it might come back." That implies, to me at least, that the Lustlord was preventing the reanimation and the reanimation would have happened on its own without his intervention. It would be interesting, given the generally negative light in which unhumans have been portrayed if Ivala herself was basically creating a version. On the other hand, if that is the case, Ivala does seem to give the prospect opportunities to avoid the fate. Only if they don't have the patience to nurture their power and recklessly get themselves killed will that happen to them. Also, the Chosen have volunteered to be her warriors. Nobody said that their service necessarily ended with death. It would be kind of interesting if that served as the initial inspiration for the unhumans, but the fanatics had twisted it for their own purposes. One implication I thought I picked up on was that the fanatics wanted to force the transformation on others. It's one thing to volunteer; it's another to be conscripted. Also, while the original unhumans merely had their sexuality seared from them, the newer ones seem to have had their sentience removed as well. Being sterilized is one thing; being reduced to an unthinking tool is another.

2015-12-27 12:06:38 +0000 UTCMaybe from our end, but this is Sierra's livelihood and I imagine she has to balance getting the updates our as fast as possible with providing as much content as possible. Last time she had art made she wasn't working on NN or any other games. And I think the saying you are looking for is "Haste makes waste" but I appreciate the sentiment and can agree as we have seen that Sierra is worth any wait. Considering I've been wih the project since before Stineford, this game has grown in leaps and bounds.

2015-12-27 03:31:22 +0000 UTCYeah, but it would be worth it no? The longer it is, the better it is. =3 You gain more from waiting than rushing. (Or something like that... :P)

2015-12-27 03:18:31 +0000 UTCOh, that always felt like a trophy or a trap to me. The "lustlord" is very bombastic and in love with his own power and it seems fitting he'd have a "Invala's futile assassin" or w/e he chose to call it on display. That or found one and took it home and bound it with a spell or 2 to attack anyone that came for it nearby. However, that doesn't mean I think your idea is invalid...just that Invala isn't the first being that comes to mind with it. We've already seen there are humans that have no problem with stripping their own kind of sentience and sexuality to serve their needs...and would find twisted justice in sending overly perverted young men to die.

2015-12-26 23:57:37 +0000 UTCYeah, I figured, was just indulging in wishful thinking, especially as a Mongoose influenced form would also suit her really well. All in all, she's a very flexible character and keeping it simple would make it easier on you so I absolutely defer to you on matters of degree of change she goes. I also just realized that the more the transformation is pronounced...the more her sprite and bust would have to be changed and that would add more delays and issues with the game. I didn't think of that at first, my bad

2015-12-26 22:43:55 +0000 UTCLol, this appears to have the most replies out of the other comments on this page, lol. But sweet! Can't wait for the next version! I JUST WANNA PLAY THIS GAME!! ITS TOO AWE-MAZING!! And I seem to see Simon in Noxian Nights, lol.

2015-12-26 21:14:42 +0000 UTCNo comment on the plot speculation other than that I'm glad to see it, but I'll drop in to answer the direct question. You can expect the next version of the game to be out mid-January, most likely. Yes, backers will always get it a week before everyone else.

2015-12-26 17:44:29 +0000 UTCExpect a $10 thread about this soonish. Don't get your hopes up, I've had something pretty simple planned for a long time.

2015-12-26 17:41:17 +0000 UTCActually, when I referred to Yarra's route, I wasn't thinking of Ginasta. I'm trying to avoid spoilers, but to be more specific, I was thinking about what Yarra et al. stumbled upon just outside the succubine village.

2015-12-26 09:27:45 +0000 UTCWell that's the advantage of the ambiguity of the Prologue and Chapter one in that regard, we don't know for certain and yet are presented with enough information to be shown several potential ideas. You do have a good point about the Chosen themselves and Invala having a "winnowing process." but on the other hand, the experience boosts the Chosen get make them seem like they are geared towards being as strong as possible or at least getting to a certain level as soon as possible. Unless they are "just ripe" or "well done" in terms of power when they reach that point, then it seems odd she'd be rushing the cooking time as it were. Plus the power wasn't described by Qum as the same as Chosen power, "explodey" I believe was one term, which to me suggests the powers Ginasta used are much less controlled and stable. That could add a sinister element as to why she's hunting down the I.K.

2015-12-26 08:50:44 +0000 UTCWhile I do know the Chosen are a poke at the typical protagonist of this type of game, Yarra's path did suggest an alternative. What if those called Chosen are merely a chrysalis state, not the intended end result? They certainly have a knack for getting themselves killed, almost like they are meant to die. It would certainly make Ivala's machinations seem less incompetent, and it would explain why she keeps granting her "blessing" to such giant douches.

2015-12-26 07:41:13 +0000 UTCCould even have a running gag about Yarra getting "Wing Envy" and when called on it could grouse, "Oh come on, even an Incubus King would envy those things!" Dracokin would fit Aka's fighting style of fast and skillful fighting, slashes included. Of course, there are other forms she could take that would fit that just as well, but Dracokin is a thing of mine I'll admit.

2015-12-25 19:13:21 +0000 UTCThe Chosen are part "poke at cookie cutter hero trope" and outright reference to old PS2 game called "Bard's Tale" if I remember rightly, as that game ALSO poked at the same trope...to the point where when the "Chosen One"(s) died, there were little green men that appeared out of the blue to sing a mocking song of "Oh it's bad luck to be you." For me, I see it as Invala trying to make "pure and perfect warriors" by selecting young and inexperienced kids that can in theory grow into their power and become mighty warriors...except she's basically creating holy versions of the Incubus Kings as they all go nuts with power and their own self importance. This is where the perspective of her being a goddess goes against her as she can keep trying the same thing over and over and hoping for different results as the consequences of her many, MANY failures never reach her directly as far as we can tell. Then again, Invala has had the chance...more than once to expose Simon, so there's the chance she's using the Chosen to purge the gene pool as it were, weaken the rat population, and weed out the weaker of the Incubus King's forces while allowing Simon to develop as a dark horse. This is an H-game with more context, plot, character development/motivation, and outright agency than half the new games out nowadays.

2015-12-25 18:42:38 +0000 UTCI'm up for the Dragonkin one! She'd look awesome n badass!
Deathknight134
2015-12-25 17:11:54 +0000 UTCAlso, something that occurred to me after getting the transformation scene is what is Aka going to look like after the transformation into a pseudo demon? I'd totally go for a "Dragon demon" or something like that, not to mention itd save having to create a named NPC or character for the dracobusii. She could have dragon wings, small and smooth scales and maybe dextrous and fine talons and feet. Ooo, a tail too. Then again, there's all sorts of options available for her new look, even furry if that doesn't have the mob up in pitchforks and torches.

2015-12-25 04:32:21 +0000 UTCOh! Forgot to let you know that there was a small typo near the end of the game. If I recall, it was near where we play as the Incubus King once again, as that woman's slave/servant. The typo was probably in that story. Though it's just a small typo, but eh. [Edited] Also, who's the extra harem member during the Incubus King meeting thing? Is it the Orc Breeder girl, or is it someone else? I was really hoping to getting that woman who killed the Orc Incubus King. She's fking awesome! Also, oh my fking god, I seriously hate those Chosen! THAT'S THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT SHOULD BE FOUND IN A CHOSEN ONE! I'm glad they keep dying over n over without changing anything.... I fking hate their personality... Their all fking clones and they all do the same fking thing.... Good riddance... And that Undead Chosen I found outside of the secret village during the Incubus King meeting, why the hell is he undead? There a specific reason for that? (Sorry if that sounded harsh, but I ain't hating, just curious) Anyway, he's dead now, but would still like to know what was his role in there, lol. [Edited Again] Also, when will the next version be available for Patreons? Do we get a week earlier release for Patreons before it goes Public Release? Last question I wanted to ask. I got nothing to do, and I just want to continue playing this game.... The suspense is real!

2015-12-23 20:58:54 +0000 UTCThanks, glad you like it! Happy to tell you that if you simply move your save files from the current folder into the new version of the game when it comes out, you'll be able to pick up right where you left off. I hope to keep everyone's saves valid through the end of the game. I don't give exact end dates because that would make certain things easy to predict. However, at my current rate of one update per month, I would not expect the game to still be going in 2018. I'll be working hard at it until it's finished!

2015-12-23 13:46:55 +0000 UTCGreetings! I've played the game, and its very interesting! It's been keeping me busy for the past 2-3 days, and finally managed to get to the chapter thats a WIP! Would I be able to update the downloaded game? Cause I certainly don't want to restart everything, unless there's a way to import saves. If there is, please let me know, cause I just want to continue playing this game! THIS GAME IS JUST SO AWESOME AND AMAZING! IT'S AWE-MAZING!! I hope you manage to complete this game. This game is just too amazing to be put down! Please complete the game! Also, when will the game be completed? Between 2017-2018? Really want to play the completed the version as soon as possible. When I made it to the end, I just went click on the Patreon button and signed right up so I can support you!

2015-12-23 01:34:34 +0000 UTC"I mean, shitting dick nipples is just vanilla, but a woman over 50? Are you mad?" A quote for the ages :D
Maz
2015-12-21 09:35:08 +0000 UTCWell, it's not about the age, but about how old they look. :D I have no problems with 100 year old... elves for example, that still look like in their early twenties. :P

2015-12-21 02:05:19 +0000 UTCAlso, funny you should say that... "We're all a little mad here." ;P

2015-12-20 02:15:27 +0000 UTCLol, well keep it up then. It's nice knowing she'll at least be put back in her place. :)

2015-12-20 01:28:25 +0000 UTCWhile Simon will be having sex with a lot of people, he won't be having sex with absolutely everyone. Having said that, Andra is in the game for a reason. =P Hester is there because I like old women as characters! "Whoever has to write up a scene for it" would be me, I'm the only writer, but your clause there is the reason there won't be a lot of old person sex in this game. There are certain limits people don't want crossed in their pornography. I mean, shitting dick nipples is just vanilla, but a woman over 50? Are you mad?

2015-12-20 01:15:32 +0000 UTCWhen I was playing back through the game for a walkthrough, I noticed Andra again. Is there any chance we'll be able to bend her over that altar in her room, or make her a harem member? 1. Nun fetish. 2. Someone really needs to do something to help that woman relax a little and open up her mind. Also, while I'd feel sorry for whomever has to write up the scene for it, it would be kind of poetic for Simon to "send off" Hester later on. Reward her for a life well lived by sending her off to meet Ivala "with a bang". - See what I did there? There's kind of a gender bias against writing scenes for women over a certain age.

2015-12-19 17:20:05 +0000 UTCKeep up the good work! Finally got to what I hope is the last content in Simon's Path, (I can make tentacles!) This is one of the most engaging games I've played in awhile. It was so good I started what turned out to be a 26 page walkthrough for it. :)
