Wasn’t sure if you caught it but Cho was forced to give up the group via the Veritaserum (truth serum of Snape’s) that Umbridge was using on students (book does this differently). Also, the twins left school and caused havoc on the way out for their own satisfaction/to stick it to Umbridge. You’ll see why they already knew their path didn’t need graduating from Hogwarts in the next film.
