Good evening my dear friends, and happy new year ✨I hope this 2021 started right for you and your dear ones ❤️ 

I'm here to share some good news! I’m finally able to change my creator balance and payout currency to my local currency of Euros 🍾💫 This means I’m subject to less fees when I get paid each month, but especially when it comes to transfer my money out of Patreon. I've spent a whole evening calculating how much money I've lost in fees in these 3 years, and the result got me traumatized 🙈 The mystery of my constant poorness got finally explained! 👀 Jokes apart, I truly hope this change will benefit me, without affecting you.

To avoid any additional conversion fees for the both of us (I will lose an additional 2,5% from every transaction in non-euro, and you pay conversion fees too), I suggest that those of you in Europe also change to your local currency. For those of you who would like to switch their currency, you can follow these steps:

1. On Patreon.com, hover over your avatar in the top right of your screen.
2. Click Manage memberships.
3. Find my profile, and click Edit.
4. Under Currency, choose your preferred currency 🦋
5. Click Update to save your settings.

For the ones of you that live outside Europe, you can keep on paying me in dollars or switch to your local currency when available 🌸 The tiers' prices matter kept me upset for long: was it better to convert the exact dollar amount in euros, considering the actual conversion rate (that might fluctuate periodically); or was it better to just change currency to the same price? The second option won. The consequence is that my tiers are some cents more expensive than before. I hope I chose well, I hope these cents won't offend no one, really.

Oggi ho per voi una buona notizia: finalmente Patreon mi ha offerto la possibilità di cambiare la valuta con cui vengo pagata, da Dollari ad Euro (la mia valuta locale)! 🍾💫 Questo significa che da oggi sarò soggetta al pagamento di meno tasse. Ho passato una serata intera a calcolare quanti soldi ho perso in tasse di conversione in questi tre anni, ed i risultati mi hanno letteralmente traumatizzata 🙈 Ecco finalmente spiegata la mia inesorabile condizione di povertà 😅 E' frustrante sapere che finora ho ricevuto circa il 60% di tutto il supporto che mi avete offerto. Spero tanto che questo cambiamento potrà giovare a me, senza penalizzare voi.

Per evitare sia a me ( -2,5% su ogni pagamento non-Euro) che a voi il pagamento di tasse di conversione aggiuntive, consiglio a tutti i miei Patrons che vivono in Europa di modificare la valuta con cui effettuano i pagamenti su Patreon, passando all'Euro. Ecco come:

1. Su Patreon.com clicca sull'icona del tuo avatar in alto a destra

2. Clicca Manage membership

3. Trova il mio profilo, e vai su Edit

4. Sotto Currency (Valuta), scegli la tua valuta locale 🦋

5. Clicca Update (aggiorna) per salvare le modifiche

Per coloro che vivono fuori dall'UE, potete continuare a pagarmi in dollari, oppure scegliere una valuta di preferenza diversa 🌸 La questione del prezzo dei miei abbonamenti mi ha preoccupata a lungo: dovevo convertire l'attuale prezzo da dollari ad euro, secondo il tasso attuale (soggetto a variazioni che non potrei seguire); o era meglio lasciare lo stesso prezzo ma cambiare valuta? Ho scelto la seconda. Di conseguenza i miei tiers costeranno qualche centesimo in più. Spero tanto che questa decisione non vi offenda. Spero che questi centesimi non pesino troppo su di voi, davvero.
