This title was given by the photographer responsible for such good looking pixels (Vincenzo Travino); must be something Frida Kahlo said. Even though I'm not a fan of Frida, I can't help appreciating every single shot from this set, totally analog and very authentic. Me and Vincenzo only met in that occasion; we created in silence, very concentrated and involved. I remember him writing me the evening before and telling me about how special the other day would be: the 2nd of February, 2020. Duality and emptiness hand by hand, repeatedly.

E' stato il fotografo (Vincenzo Travino) responsabile di questi scatti a scegliere il titolo; dev'essere una citazione di Frida Kahlo. Nonostante Frida non rappresenti una grande ispirazione artistica per me, non riesco a fare a meno di apprezzare questo e tutti gli altri scatti della serie, realizzata totalmente in analogico Un set autentico e prezioso, definito da istanti in cui entrambi lavoravamo silenziosamente, concentrati come se avessimo tra le mani qualcosa di importantissimo. In effetti quella luce era un vero e proprio dono: il Sole si faceva timidamente spazio tra le fitte nubi, e spesso tornava a nascondersi, ponendoci in attesa nei pressi della finestra più promettente. Ricordo Vincenzo scrivermi la sera prima per farmi notare che data importante ci aspettava: il 2 Febbraio 2020. La dualità e l'assenza mano per mano, ripetutamente.
