2026-03-06 22:46:28 +0000 UTCGlad you enjoyed the mini album! I had a lot of fun with it too. Jaemin did push for "sexier" to be on the album, so you're right on the money with that haha. Jaemin also wrote the lyrics for What It Is! They said they were going for an easy-listening, trendy vibe for this project, and I think they nailed it! Everything is so vibey and makes you want to dance. If you're looking for more, they filmed a lot of great trailers for this album - I'd recommend checking those out. The song Wind Up is also the OST for their short drama Wind Up (hence the baseball theme). And there's been a ton of great variety content with them too! It's all been such a treat. Really happy for the two of them and have been loving seeing both expected and new sides of them through this project.

Think that is where the Wind up song came from cause they are baseball players. It would be a fun Patreon reaction. It is probably a total run time of about a movie since the "episodes " are only about 3 mins long each.

2026-02-25 21:40:08 +0000 UTCI agree it’s a fun little album. It’s not that deep, it’s just playful and more like a taste test since the songs are so short and a bit repetitive. Not knocking it though, they just leave their fans wanting more which hopefully works to their advantage and they get to release more albums in the future. I would love to hear them go deeper with the lyrics, do a little more soul searching, get more expressive and creative, but I get wanted to start off playing it safer. All in all, I think it’s a great start and I look forward to whatever they release next.

In their listening party they said the only time they "argued" was in the inclusion of "sexier" and that Jaemin even asked their A&R team to convince Jeno. Fun fact: "What it is" was written by Jaemin and they said that he had to edit it several times because SM asked that the lyrics be toned down to 15+. Now I wonder what were the original lyrics. Overall, I am happy with the album and my only gripe is that I wish the songs were longer. I am excited to see the live stages. Will you be checking any of their other content?
