Urban with Chase Hart

I'm so truly sorry for the slow couple of months here! I just spent a wonderful 6 weeks in New Zealand with my family and throughout it, I kept expecting things to slow down (my eagerly packed books and creative projects never got touched) so that I could catch up with online things, but that turned out not to be the nature of this particular visit. Thank you all so much for sticking around! I promise to pick up the pace over the coming weeks. :)
These images were taken a week or so before I left for the trip, in Pittsburgh, using Ilford HP5 film.
Chase is a very kind and talented photographer who recently moved to the Mid West from Oregon and this was our first time working together. Plans for the session only came together the same day but we managed to squeeze in one roll of film before I needed to drive back to Columbus after my short weekend visit to the area. It was a COLD day and we'd planned to work indoors but once we discovered there was a rooftop available at the studio Chase had found, we couldn't resist ducking up there for a few minutes! Despite the hurriedness of it all, it was a wonderful introductory shoot and I hope we'll have another opportunity while we're both still in this part of the country.
