Oh yea I’m aware of that, the fact it is called white lead too 😆 As with asbestos, arsenic and other similarly nasty things we used in the wrong way. I’m sure it is all inspiration. The whole radium thing is very interesting, definitely worth a watch if you find documentaries like that interesting. The fact that they talk about using white lead in makeup etc. here, people put radium in makeup (same with lead), chocolate, toys, medication, toothpaste and even suppositories! It’s insane what we used to put in things 😱 I’m sure that contributed greatly to the whole reduced life expectancy 🤣

2022-09-06 17:48:38 +0000 UTCThe white lead story seems to be a play on the real life story of radium. It’s a horrific true story, well worth watching a video about if you’re interested. I think it’s mainly about the “radium girls”
