[WIP] Large Project Announcement

This is a viewport render of part of a minute-long animation I've been working on to expand my recent Tabletop image render.

What you're seeing is in Solid Mode within Blender for the fastest possible animation pass. I use viewport renders like this to visualize what needs to be tweaked at full FPS.

The models in Solid Mode get a splash of lovely red nail polish and heavy mascara by default, but they will not look this way in the final render. I've reworked the giant's skin with an HD Genesis 9 model's skin textures, and he's lookin' even better than the original image.

With the scene and camera mostly blocked, I'm working on the voice-acting. I tried text-to-speech with ElevenLabs with some passable results (check out the attached audio file for the sound design I've done for the giant).

ElevenLabs has another option called "speech to speech" which I'm hoping will convert my voice, inflection, and emotion to another character's voice. Getting the privacy to record the sounds needed to accompany this video is another consideration. Long term, I'd prefer to use actual humans over AI, so if you know of any macro-friendly voice actors, send them my way! While that part is AI, I am doing the giant's sound design and mixing myself in Logic.

Once voice acting is at a good spot, I can animate the visemes (mouth and lips) to perfectly match the vocal... utterances, and get started on fluid simulation for some cum! We'll see.

And finally, there's rendering. Rendering for the last animation took about a week at 256 samples. I'm hoping to compromise less on samples with this one, though. The giant's glans texture is too good to denoise the hell out of.

Depending on how this project goes, I may consider selling it as a single for a couple bucks. Everyone supporting me on here (all tiers), however, will have full access to it. Let me know your thoughts on this: I value your support, and want to make sure you guys feel that selling singles is fair.

Regularly Scheduled Content Is Coming

I cranked out 6 Techdeck'd scenes for my weekend, so those are rendering now. Two new pages will be up soon. Scenario tiers will probably get more stills from this Tabletop project while it renders, on top of a few other scenes I've brainstormed (concepts of a plan, I know). I'm moving next week, but I'll also have a week off my day job this month to get ahead on some render scenes.
