Pausing Payments for the Next Month

Hello everyone,

TL;DR: I am pausing payments starting tomorrow, Nov 12. Only payments--not chapters.

So, I haven't been keeping my end of the deal here, and you have all been getting far fewer chapters than you are supposed to. I've looked at a few methods of compensation, and from what I can tell, it looks like the best way to handle this is just by pausing payments.

This will not affect the posting schedule. You will still receive the same chapters as you otherwise would have. This is just to both reimburse you for paying for something you didn't get while also giving me a kick in the pants to get my act together.

Important: From what I learned during the last billing pause, there are a few intricacies to the way Patreon billing works.

First, you need to have an active, recurring subscription for this to work. If you have canceled the sub so that it doesn't automatically resub you each month, you won't be able to get the advantage of this free month, and you may end up not being able to resub until the pause is lifted.

Second, you cannot change your sub level while the pause is in effect. You can only cancel or resub as a new member. So, consider whether you want to change your level before this goes into effect.

You have 24 hours to decide what you want to do regarding this. Let me know if you have any concerns.
