Practice

I figured out a way to draw dark skin. Use cool colors for the lit areas and warm colors for the shadows. Of course, this only works in specific lighting conditions (like backlighting). In other situations, the coloring definitely needs to change. I’m still figuring it out.

Yeaaah I've just finished storyboarding for the next chapter! I finally get to deal with something deeper and I think this chapter will be much more interesting than the last one.

But it will take me longer to finish since I still need to dedicate most of my energy to commissions, and I'm not really satisfy with how the art of the previous chapter turned out so I want to spend more time polishing each page this time.

I will keep you updated of my progress as before. Thank you again for being here with me and reading my comic!

Asclepius New Design

Apollo: "Asclepius wants to be a doctor? That's nice. As long as he doesn't develop an obsession with resurrecting the dead, which causes his own death.

"But I'm the god of prophecy. I had already foreseen his ending the moment I saved him from that fire and decided to love him. Yet I let him walk down the path anyway, because it's his choice. And I will see him through, even if it will break my heart in the end."

(I love this Asclepius with burned scars so much, I had to draw it. But I'm uncertain whether I should use it or not, as it means some major redraw.)
