Oh, to have your fate held gently by the chin...

Despite the lineart coming in quite easily, the process to finish this piece had me over a barrel and yearning for the sweet mercy of a lobotomy.

Initially I hadn't planned to render this as much as I did but as I got further in the process, I realised that the amount of mistakes I'd left in the sketch (remember how I said it came easy?) became very glaring once I added color and volume and so in trying to correct them, I engaged in the process we in the industry call by its technical name: Petting the Picture to Death.

Thankfully, after no small amount of producing "final_fin-fin2-reallyfin-godmakeitstop-fin.jpg" versions, I am satisfied with how it turned out - particularly that silky blue hair and the doe-eyed expression.
