UE5.4 - Adventure Game Concept | Packaged Project For WINDOWS | Based on AGLS v1.3

I present a simple "game" created in Unreal Engine 5.4, based on my main project—Adventure Game Locomotion System v1.3. The work on the scene itself took me just under two months. Alongside developing the map, I was also working on improving AGLS. In the end, I think the result looks quite solid, which is why I wanted to share my work.

AGLS is significantly different from the ALS project. In this project, the locomotion is based on Motion Matching. However, the Overlay States and the way parameters such as MaxSpeed, Acceleration, etc. are defined are similar to the ALSv4 project. https://snipboard.io/XgUsQK.jpg As for using a different rotation mode for the player (RotationMode == VelocityDirection), unfortunately it is not supported. Motion Matching is not adapted for this mode.

Since its height is about 180 cm, which is adult-sized, can it be changed to a child or chibi-style character? And will everything, including wall climbing and other mechanics, still work properly?

thanks, I kinda commented on the wrong post n I dont know if this is the right place to ask but I meant iwals or agls I was having issues using the migrate tool mostly trying with iwals migrating the game mode or content folder a couple blueprints failed to compile n deciding to just use the project without migrating but change setting so it works for android I cant get it to register touch inputs been trying to figure it out, I know its windows only but would it be too much effort for someone to make their game work for mobile

Hi. Currently I have only uploaded a packaged version of this project, which means it cannot be edited in any game engine. As for the files for Unreal Engine, I think they will appear in about 2-3 days. The ease of importing the data into an existing project will mainly depend on your skills with UE5. However, it will be worth focusing on importing the appropriate settings, plugin files and enabling all required them, and copy all essential content from the 'Content' folder. You can also use the 'migrate' tool

Torn between this and MD6's system. This one is far cleaner whereas MD6 has more systems for traversal but more buggy. Ease of use will be a big factor as I'm a designer more than a programmer. This is a very nice system. Looking forward to 1.3.

Hey, so whenever I create a new level it launches and if I press play it almost immediately crashes. Is there a fix to this?

thank you for sorting the 5.5 issues Jakub. I'm not sure if you're aware but in 5.5 i could no longer change the character walking / facing direction. Off the top of my head i think it was the 5 key that changed that state.

AGLS v1.3 Release Update Regarding the release of the clean AGLS v1.3, there has been a slight delay, for which I apologize. I still need to check the project for potential issues in UE5.5 and refine a few remaining elements. Because of this, I might need about a week to finalize everything. Once AGLS is released, I will most likely also share the full project containing this map shortly after.
