One of my fav scenes is when Juyoung destroys the taekwondo centre for Dohoe because the director Hwang Da Seul says she took inspiration from the scene in The Handmaiden where Sook Hee destroys that weird library for Hideko (which was also one of my fav scenes there too)

2025-03-29 07:08:26 +0000 UTCIn Korea, '6months in prison but 2years probation' means if he doesn't cause any trouble(crime) in next 2 years, then he doesn't have to go prison. So if dohoe lives 'normal' life in next 2 years, he is free. That's why juyoung said thanks to hyunho(the laywer of dohoe).

2025-03-29 00:34:50 +0000 UTCWith the prison thing I THINK it's that he got 6months but also 2years probation meaning either he gets 2yrs out of prison (either on supervision, having to do community service etc.) And in that time either the 6months can be written off due to good behaviour (kinda like getting out early for good behaviour) OR the 6months would come after the 2years and we just didn't get that far but I think it's more similar to the first thing I mentioned,, obviously prison sentences and stuff change a lot country by country but I'm pretty sure it works a bit like that in the UK so I'm just guessing it was smth like that LOL

2025-03-28 18:53:08 +0000 UTCI as well was confused about the prison sentence, he got 6 months and then it’s never addressed like a 6 month time skip?? I have resolved it as a translation error, I think what was implied is he was sentenced to 6 months but it was suspended to 2 years probation. Anyway I loved this show and it’s added to To my star 1&2 as among my all time best BL’s, this director just hits it out of the park every time!!
