Star Wars: Galactic System - CH11
Added 2024-05-03 22:50:59 +0000 UTCI had killed someone, and I felt nothing, nothing at all.
The blaster in my hand was still hot. The body of the bounty hunter in front of me silent, a pool of red seeping into the grey concrete around it. My heart pounded in my chest, but not out of guilt or regret. Adrenaline. The exhilaration of survival. But as far as any other emotion, I felt absolutely… nothing.
[System Notification]

I stared at the system message floating in front of me, and sighed. I had leveled up, hadn’t I?
Taking a deep breath, I cautiously approached the lifeless body of the bounty hunter. Carefully, I checked for any valuable items he may have had on him. Grabbing his blaster, a handful of credits, a few knives, some grenades, and a holopuck with my face and bounty.
~Dead or Alive, Sion Wells, Slave. Reward: 5,500 credits.~
That was surprisingly low, I kind of expected Gardulla to be offering more, I not only escaped her, but messed with her business. Then again, Gardulla wasn't known for her generosity anyway, I honestly doubt she thinks I’m worth the trouble of hiring the best of the best.
This works in my advantage anyhow. If my bounty is that low, it means the only ones coming after me are the ones I can possibly deal with. God knows I can deal with Jango Fett, or anyone of his caliber.
Pushing that thought aside, I stared at the bounty hunter… or his corpse for that matter one last time, thinking what to do. Self defense or not, I had killed someone in Naboo, meaning there was a chance I might find myself being prosecuted by the authorities, or worse… getting the attention of Palpatine.
I could hide the body, but where…?
No… hiding the body might just make things worse, my best bet is to leave it here.
Taking a final look at the body, I turned away. The narrow alley was shrouded in darkness, littered with waste and debris. Not a place anyone would stroll into without reason. The body would lie undiscovered for hours, maybe even days.

Back at the hotel, I dropped on the bed and with a sigh, I opened my stats window.

Closing the window, I glanced to the right of the screen where the four class options sat.
Jedi Guardian / Common - Masters of the lightsaber, Jedi Guardians are protectors of peace. They excel in close combat and are skilled defenders.
Sith Warrior / Very Rare - Masters of stealth and deception, Sith Assassins use the dark side to empower their attacks and manipulate their enemies.
Mandalorian / Rare - Equipped with a variety of weapons and gadgets, Bounty Hunters excel in tracking and capturing or eliminating their targets.
Celestial Paragon / Legendary- A extremely rare class that balances immense power with significant restrictions. This path offers unique abilities that can surpass conventional limitations, for those who can master its challenges.
I knew enough about the first three classes to have a general idea of how they worked. But the last one, I had no idea what it entailed, but it seemed that out of the four the one I knew nothing about was the most rare.
The rarity of the class alone was enough to spur my interest. But the question of the matter was… what were those 'significant restrictions'? I needed more information before making a decision.
"System, details on Celestial Paragon class."
Words began to form before me:
[Celestial Paragon / Legendary- A legendary class that balances immense power with significant restrictions. This class gives the user an immense physical potential, one without peer. This peerless power can be adjusted or evolve to excel in any situation. However, using this class blocks any force sensitive classes, as it brings your Midichlorian count down to zero.
Some of the perks of this class include but are not limited to.
Mind Fortress: This perk grants immunity to mind control, illusions, and other psychic or mental manipulations. It reflects a strong mental discipline and resistance, making the Celestial Paragon impervious to typical Jedi mind tricks or Sith persuasions.
Toxin Ward - High resistance to poisons, toxins, and other hazardous substances. With this class your body can neutralize or mitigate the effects of most known poisons, providing a significant advantage in environments or battles where such tactics are employed.
Peerless Prowess - Enhanced physical abilities that include increased strength, speed, and agility. This perk allows the Celestial Paragon to perform beyond physical limiters, surpassing other beings in raw physical contests, that being said, this is something you have to earn, this class just opens the door to this possibility.
Enhanced Recovery - Accelerated healing from physical injuries. This perk allows the Celestial Paragon to recover quickly from wounds that would typically require medical attention, though it might not be as effective against severe or critical injuries.
Rapid Assimilation - This perk grants the Celestial Paragon the ability to quickly learn and master any weapon or fighting style they wish. Whether it's an ancient lightsaber technique, hand to hand combat, or unfamiliar alien weaponry, the Celestial Paragon can become proficient with it in a fraction of the usual time.
]
So if I pick that… I wont be able to use the force. But I would become a super soldier of some kind…
I glanced back at the other options. Jedi Guardian, Sith Warrior, Mandalorian Hunter. Each one had its appeal. But none offered the same level of benefits that the Celestial Paragon did.
The thrill of wielding a lightsaber, of commanding the Force, was tempting but would it extend to my survival? I was no chosen one, and there was no guarantee I would reach such a level anytime soon. The Mandalorian way also appealed, their history and culture were legends among the stars.
But the Paragon... I could be something else entirely.
Again, my eyes were drawn towards the 'Peerless Prowess' perk of the Celestial Paragon class. Enhanced physical ability without limits. That sounded amazing in of itself.
The system said this path opens up the doors to such prowess, meaning it was not immediate and I would have to work for it. But what if I could train myself to be faster than any Jedi? Stronger than any Sith? What if I could surpass even the legendary Mandalorians in combat?
I think I need a drink before taking a decision.

Hmm I was thinking would it be possible for the main character to hijack the droid army in the story.

2024-05-06 00:36:20 +0000 UTCI thought the mandalore class wasn't bad and seem like an okay pic. As it would allow him to be a bounty hunter with that tracking skill.

2024-05-05 04:04:55 +0000 UTCI personally think he should just re-roll. I believe he is currently level 12 and he got this option at level 10 does that not mean he gets two free re rolls I say he should take it. All current classes are bad he might have a legendary option, but in my opinion, this is Star Wars universe anything that bars you from the force ruins, the story.

2024-05-04 17:39:31 +0000 UTCTrue, I was trying to be dramatic overall. But yeah, will keep from that.

2024-05-04 09:06:47 +0000 UTCPersonally I would choose to be a grey Jedi so I can use both sides of the force and not fall to one side or the other due to having balance and their is nothing stopping me from using advanced weapons armor and tactics like the mandalorians and instead of using beskar which would get me into trouble with the mandos I would use Quantum crystalin armor for all my gear and ships if I knew how to make it since its man made and can be mass produced otherwise it would be either beskar or phrik

2024-05-04 08:19:31 +0000 UTCTftc good job overall but you totally botched the first paragraph you said the blaster was still hot in his hand a blaster does not generate much heat with a single shot unless it is very poorly designed or its meant to fire a single powerful shot with a slow rate of fire under normal circumstances you would not be able to feel the heat from the gun unless you touched the barrel even then it shouldn't be very hot from one shot the second mistake you made was to say their was a pool of blood because that should be impossible with a blaster since it uses heat to burn a hole through the target and caurterizes the wound immediately

2024-05-04 08:07:29 +0000 UTCThere's really only one sensible option for his class. As all the other options are really bad and no one would even really should consider the other options if they understood Star wars. I can see most people here don't have a very deep understanding of Star wars. So let me break it down for you if he picked either Force option he's actually picking an alignment in the force. Which will most likely strengthen his presence and increase his midichlorians in the force regardless of what he picks and draw palpatine's interest. If he picks the sith assassin all the Jedi he encounters should perceive him as a sith in the force and he doesn't have a Force skill that will hide him and the Jedi will most likely try to kill him making it impossible for him to work with any Jedi and it'll be really hard to change his alignment as only a few characters in Star wars have ever come back from being a sith. If he picks the Jedi one he will most likely be taken to the Jedi Temple or put on a jedi-controlled world to be observed and not trained and to live out the rest of his days where the Jedi can observe him to make sure he doesn't fall and become a sith. As there not taking any padawans Learners over the age of three. As it's too risky because he has too many outside attachments and it would be really hard to indoctrinate him and the only reason they let Anakin Skywalker in was because they thought he was the chosen one. If you're a reasonable person that should be enough to explain why those are bad choices. The main character should wait for the gray Jedi class as it should allow him to use both sides of the force without the drawbacks. The unparalleled celestial class I think it was called. It's literally something you shouldn't even consider and I'm surprised the author even allowed this to be a choice that people could vote on. The reason being most people aren't interested in a Star wars fanfics where main character doesn't have any Force sensitivity at all. On top of that most of the perks are things the main character would achieve anyway given a bit of time. I would also imagine a number of patrons would stop being patrons if he picked this. As this is how volatile this choice is. As this choice is literally short sighted immediate gratification for something he would have achieved anyway without losing the force and the force is more than just telekinesis and a bit of mental manipulation. As there is so many abilities that never appear in the movies like force teleportation which is insane because they can teleport between planets or the ability to phase through matter like kitty pride from the X-Men. And there's things like force alchemy which is basically the Star wars version of enchanting your equipment and they can even create hard light illusions if I remember correctly. All these Force power would be lost if he picked this. There's also Force healing which makes the whole regeneration thing redundant. I also thought you were sort of going for a Superman / mandalorian character build and if he chooses this class he won't be able to telekinetically fly kind of like Superman as that's possible using the force and the main character would just really have to raise his Force stat eventually and practice. There's also tutaminis which would allow him to block sith lightning and blaster bolts and in theory he could grab his opponents lightsaber and rip it from their hands with this ability and then proceed to shove their lightsaber up their ass. He should pick the mandalorian class. Because It allow him to track bounties and be a bounty hunter across naboo. Which is clearly the easiest way to make money and the main character won't have to rob a bank to buy the super soldier serums or the Halo Master Chief armor.

2024-05-04 03:56:31 +0000 UTCThe ancient Jedi were just gray Jedi.

2024-05-04 03:02:35 +0000 UTCHe can reroll classes once per level. So even if he doesn’t pick any of the former, he can still get something good later.

2024-05-04 01:21:06 +0000 UTCCould he get the ancient jed'ii class?

2024-05-04 01:12:09 +0000 UTCToo bad he can’t combined Celestial Paragon class with something like gray Jedi
Dragon Cross
2024-05-04 01:08:06 +0000 UTCThe fourth choice is based on Star Wars, but as a being devoid of the force altogether

2024-05-04 00:48:58 +0000 UTCHe can still reroll. Every time he levels up from now on, until he chooses a class he can reroll.

2024-05-04 00:48:24 +0000 UTCMy class choice is just anything with the force, and if not that then at least something that's actually Star Wars related. It's Star Wars, chosing this pseudo body cultivator style class that blocks any force powers seems like an absolute waste of the universe and really blocks him into a very specific route. Sure you don't have to be a force user, he could go for bounty hunter, but at least those choice have some basis in the universe already.

2024-05-04 00:47:30 +0000 UTCHonestly I really like power of force why can’t he be Gray Jedi ( Gray Jedi who walks both light and dark side of force)

2024-05-03 23:50:02 +0000 UTCDepends tbh if he chooses any of the top 3 it’s good and while Palpatine is aware of him kinda he is capable of growth but the last one sounds like a good way of he runs into palpatine he will be kinda fucked but the bonuses are good what are the other bonuses for the rest of the class? Kinda would prefer sith sorcerer and taking the sith as the first class
