Let me introduce lady Reet. She lives in an ancient castle in the outskirts. Every year for Halloween she gives a charity masquerade. This night guests in evil spirits costumes come to her place. Anyone will be a desirable guest - no matter who it is - a carpenter or a duke. This is a 340 year tradition but there is a rumor going: one of the guests disappears in the castle corridors every year. 

Lady Reet laughs at all these rumors. She wears horns and scale - just like a Demon on castle Blazon. She looks so casual wearing them. Long ago, a baron lived in this castle who reaved the lands and looked down on the King.  His lust after power had no limits. Sulphur odor, smut traces, chains, and cages remind of terrible tortures. Lately Baron was into occultism and they say his power was supported by Xaririt demon cloistered in prison. If Baron left a person with the demon, this person didn't want their money or power any more. Baron took everything from the poof victim without being ever punished, leaving the victim to suffer. However 340 years ago Baron and his family disappeared all of a sudden. Nobody wanted to live in a haunted castle being afraid of ghosts, tortured people and Demon who takes people's will away. 

Half a year later a young widow from neighboring kingdom started hiring servants and living in this cold and unwelcome place. Lonely young lady gave a masquerade to get to know her neighbors better. Her niece having replaced the widow continued following this tradition.

Tradition passes down through generations and all the neighbors who have enough guts and lack superstitions honor splendid noble redhead castle mistresses
