Have you finished your Xmas holidays? In my country New Year holidays are 2 weeks long after 12.31. I still feeling so lazy after it. Also, snow is going so beautiful. I tried to make the gentlest angelic image for such an important holiday. It is filled with the feeling of waking up after Christmas. It is a gentle and intimate feeling.
I worked all week to make it in time for Christmas! I prepared the design, looked for a place to shoot and even started sleeping from 10 to 17 to get an empty place for shooting. Like a real holiday for which you have been preparing for a long time to make them great!

Hi! I joined to noobie drawing courses in September. Now I am finishing my courses and doing my coursework. I should make poster with all new skills we got. I chose to draw blonde girl in her room. Wooly loves to create cozy things and atmosphere around.
You can usually find her in a heap of yarn or fluff, while knitting or playing with soft ball of thread.

Backstory:
The sound of ocean waves rolling in along the sandy beach. The feeling of peace and solitude becomes deeper with each crashing wave. The endless expanse of the ocean merges with the horizon. It does not matter any more if there is anything else at the other end. It feels like I am standing at the edge of the world. Does it really matter if there is anything else out there? It had been my dream ever since childhood to see the ocean and take a deep breath of it. The place where I grew up was dominated by endless skyscrapers, concrete, and asphalt. I never understood how something as gigantic as the ocean could belong to no one. Why hadn't anyone ever conquered or acquired it? But now I was enjoying every second of my life. I felt free and not bound to anyone else. This feeling renewed my desire to live. I am glad that I still found the time to fulfill my naive dream. I spent so much time at work that I became a stranger to myself. I almost forgot the things that I had always dreamed. Who knows if I would ever again have another chance to see the ocean? I look around and saw that there was not one other soul nearby. And yet I noticed someone's bare footprints stretched out before me in the sand. The barely visible traces of someone else's presence should have quickly been erased by the next wave coming in. Such virgin wilderness should remain unchanged. Seeing no one else around, I strolled along the shore and watched the seagulls in flight. Do they know what happiness it is to be in flight and to be so free? But could I have ever truly appreciated what freedom was without first having lived a life of overwork? I walked over to the rock face where the waves were crashing the most violently. Suddenly, a thin silhouette of a girl stepped out from behind the rock face.
With a sharp movement, she pulled me by the shirt closer to her and looked intently into my face as if she wanted to sniff me over. She had pulled me so close to her face that I felt extremely awkward and confused. After a few seconds, girl let go of me, and she no longer looked as menacing. I was able to have a better look at her. Her riotous curls were the color of the sun, and the golden hue of her skin and delicate features of her face gave her a charming appearance. She was wearing a light white dress and a straw hat.
Generally speaking, it would be possible to take her for an ordinary girl if not for the odd circumstances of our meeting. There was something mysterious and wild about her gaze. "Don't you know that is not the polite way of introducing yourself?" She turned away and said nothing.
"Let's start again. What’s your name?” The blonde looked at me again and then started running up the beach. Her steps were too deft to be truly human. I slowly followed her. When I
caught up with girl, she was hunched over something in the sand. She was holding a piece of coral that the ocean had washed up on the beach.
I peered over her shoulder at what she had written in the sand: it was a single short word, "Marina".
"So who are you? Are you from the sea? What a coincidence," I thought. The girl smiled again and then handed me the piece of coral. I understood what she wanted me to do. I sat down next to her and wrote my name.
Marina spun around from joy. She again sharply tugged at my clothes and made me rise to my feet. She dragged me to the water by the sleeve of my shirt. I felt my shoes fill with sand and water. The girl was not at all bothered by her wet clothes. She jumped into the waves with childish glee, destroying her snow-white outfit.
"Well, where are you going? You've gotten your clothes all dirty now."
Marina stopped her games for a second and then thought for a moment or two. She began to take off her clothes and throw them on the sand. Now she stood before me completely naked, and she defiantly jabbed at my clothes. So I took off my wet boots and socks and threw them down in the sand far away from the waves. The girl still looked at me disapprovingly. I peeled off my trousers, shirt, and underwear, and they joined my boots.
I jumped into the waves. We spent God knows how much time playing in the ocean until we completely exhausted ourselves.
It was a strange day, a strange meeting, and a very strange girl. I think that something had gone wrong with her. But that's not what was important: I’m glad that I was able to come out here and live another day full of joy. I'm glad that I met Marina.
We sat next to each other and watched the inevitable course of sun sink into the endless expanse of the ocean, taking with it the familiar world that I had always known. Somewhere at that end of infinity, the sun had set on mankind as well. Like names written in the sand returning to their original state.
