2024-11-02 10:47:10 +0000 UTCSome people look at it as a triology because 4 and 5 are not as good as 1-3 and Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are not in them and, while they're definitely missed, I still feel like Jack is the MAIN main character. It may be an unpopular opinion but I personally enjoy both so I always tell people to watch them and decide for themselves. People can just skip those reactions. But at least watch them on your own. Fun facts: The films are based on Disney's ride of the same name. There is an after credits scene in all of the films, though not all of them are that important to the story. The role of Captain Jack Sparrow was originally written for Hugh Jackman but he was not that well known outside of Australia at the time so Disney cast Johnny Depp instead, who was more known. Johnny Depp based the character on Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones. He also improvised Jack's catch phrase "Savvy?" and "Bring me that horizon". Jack's “drunk walk” is actually the result of his "sea legs". When he's on land his walk is unbalanced, while at sea he walks straight. That is because he spends more time at sea than on land.
