Compatibility Layer — Cards & Events

As you might know, the game has changed significantly in recent builds. With those changes, several features became incompatible with the new systems — which is why we added the "PREVIEW BUILD" warning in our previous posts.

In the upcoming build, the Cards System has been completely revamped in order to be more intuitive and impactful gameplay-wise. More details will be shared soon, but as a heads-up: because the system was overhauled, older save files presented compatibility issues for which we’ve decided to a Compatibility Layer to make them work properly.

Cards
If you obtained any Memory Fragments (cards) in previous builds and leveled them up, their progression will be reset. However, you'll receive in-game mail with compensation — resources equivalent to the progress you've previously made but approximatively adjusted for the new system. (For example in the new system the max level was reduced from 60 to 30, so rewards will be given accordingly.)

Mini-Events
Some events still used goals from the old "Research" gameplay system. Unfortunately, we couldn’t salvage much of those, so if you're loading a save file with one of these affected events in progress, the event will be reset to avoid further incompatibilities, and next time the event will occur it'll be updated with new goals.
