Hi everyone! Heart here!
As of a week ago Friday, the final chapter of Imago has been posted for all patron's to read. Lark's story may have come to an end, but what's next for heartworks?
Well first off, there is still a lot of post production work left to do!
+ I have 16 Imago illustrations to finish
+ Hark is collecting feedback as he gears up for a final editing pass
+ We will be developing a hardcopy novel of both Chrysalis and Imago
+ We will be exploring an audiobook or dramatic reading of the story
So what does that mean for all of you?
+ Be sure to check back Mon Wed Fri, 12p EST for patron exclusive Imago art
+ Leave a comment on this post if you would like to fill out the Chrysago beta reader form
+ Continue to support the patreon as we develop audiobook/ paperback versions of both Chrysalis and Imago
+ Go back and read Lark's story again from the beginning!
Afterwards, and as Hark heads back to the editing mines for the final release of Lark's story, I will be returning full power to Collector production until that project is finished.
But as we close this chapter of Heartworks, I want to thank a lot of the people that made Lark's story possible.
+ To plasterbrain for providing the music for L's debut
+ To everyone who gave live reactions during chapter releases on the heartworks discord
+ To the beta readers who helped with Chrysalis
+ To every patron who monetarily supported us through Chrysalis and Imago's release
+ To keira for her contributions to Chrysalis and for writing the Chrysalis spinoff Fairy Bride
+ To Hark, for spending his Tuesday's brainstorming, drafting up chapters, and editing this project. For his bug facts and fairy nerdery. For his emotional support and grounding influence when I was too fae to keep from flying off. And most importantly, for being the heart of this project. L has come so far since that one off RP in fall of 2020.
+ And to you, for reading Lark's story. For caring about them and wishing we were a little less mean to them. For sticking with us through this adventure, and for continuing with us as we venture into the next.
From my heart to yours,
Thanks for stopping by π
