361 Zephyr falls

Completely different from the Marines, none of the Kamui Pirates believed anything would happen to Kronos.
In their minds, their captain was an invincible god of war!
What might be a devastating catastrophe to others was, to Kronos, nothing more than a trivial inconvenience—hardly worth mentioning.
So while Zephyr’s students were grieving in silence, the crew of the Kamui Pirates mocked them openly, finding Zephyr’s desperate act utterly meaningless.
Just like Gojo Satoru, Senju Hashirama also ridiculed the Marines. Looking straight at Aokiji, he sneered:
“Maybe Zephyr is a rare talent your Marines couldn’t afford to lose. But all of you forgot one crucial thing. Even your teacher, Zephyr, overlooked it!”
Hashirama paused for a moment before delivering the words that shook everyone:
“Kronos has already resisted the power of the Shock Fruit. Do you really think he would fear a mere bomb?”
If the remnants of Whitebeard’s crew had been present, none of them would have thought Hashirama was joking. In fact, they would have agreed wholeheartedly.
After all, it was the truth. Kronos had endured Whitebeard’s strongest strike with nothing but brute force!
If even Whitebeard’s most destructive blow couldn’t break him, how could a simple bomb hope to harm a legendary existence like Kronos?
The cruelest taunts came from Uchiha Madara.
Standing tall before the Marines, he dragged a finger across his neck in a cutting gesture, then looked coldly at Sengoku.
“You’d better prepare yourself,” Madara said, his tone chilling. “Because you’re about to see Zephyr’s corpse.”
At that moment, the smoke covering the massive crater began to clear, swept away by a fierce gust of wind.
Whether it was Garp, Sengoku, Smoker lurking in the shadows, or the other Marines nearby, every eye locked onto that pit, desperate to see what had become of the two fighters.
Had their most respected teacher, Zephyr, truly fallen here?
And was Kronos really—as the Kamui Pirates boasted—completely unscathed?
Whichever way it turned out, the truth was about to decide the course of the battlefield.
If Kronos had actually been killed or even gravely injured, it would be a tremendous victory for the Marines—almost too good to believe.
But if, on the contrary, Kronos emerged unharmed while Zephyr—one of Marine’s most important forces—had perished, then the Marines would suffer an unbearable loss.
For them, losing Zephyr was a blow they could not afford.
“Mr. Zephyr… he must be okay. He must be!”
Hina whispered to herself like a mantra, as though hypnotizing her own heart.
All she could do now was pray in silence, clinging to the hope that her teacher had survived.
