Please take the time to provide feedback.

Thank you all for your support and patience, I truly hope this little teaser and test was to your liking. The poll is multi-choice so please select all options that are relevant to you.

If something is not included in the poll please comment with something that you would like.

A feature perhaps? Even if you have asked before, it will help to have all suggestions in one place. The earlier I hear your suggestions the easier it would be to implement. No promises, but I'll do what I can.

Thank you for taking the time.

I'd add that not only is VR a once-you-have-it-you-can't-go-back kind of thing, but for me so is passthrough mode. My version of Winter Retreat has a button in it to turn the shader for the CUA winterloft object off and allow CameraBackgroundColor to make it a Person Atom only passthrough scene. By turning the shader off instead of the winterloft atom it keeps all the environmental collision that your animations are designed to work with while putting the whole scene in my own room. The invisible pillows and walls do get it the way of where I want my second dancing lady sometimes but i didn't think recreating all of the important collision surfaces separately and turning the Winterloft off completely would be worth the hassle. Your work has been absolutely standard setting btw. The quality of your animations and the way you've prioritized fluid interactivity within the limitations of VAM leaves every other creator I have seen in the dust, including ones that charge and seem like they might be whole teams. Its why iv based all of my development on winter retreat since i found it. Anyway sorry for rambling.

I have a very heavily edited version of winter retreat that I wonder if you would be interested to check out if I made a package out of it. I merged a bunch of animations from the awesome TryOnMaster free scene to a second girl, and put places for her at each position, so she stays with you as you switch. She has the CheesyFX BodyLanguage suite on her so you can interact with her with your VR hands and stuff. And I have been using a version of the character swap logic you use in your new scene, so basically you can have a second lady dancing, posing, and jiggling around for you the whole time, and switch them out into the real action whenever you want. Naturalis does create an annoying problem as its hard to live without but it breaks the illusion of having two ladies there swappin around on you by making the swap take so long. Anyway, my one biggest suggestion is to have one position that lets both ladies just chill and dance or jiggle around, cuz its always nice to have things be a little more chill and less graphic for a bit to get a little anticipation going before really gettin into it. Even the built in animation dances can add a lot to the experience imo. Let me know if you would be interested to see a version of your scene with a whole bunch of features added to it. :p

Thank you for your feedback and kind comments. Unfortunately, I don’t have experience with Blender or Unity. I previously explored those options while creating the sound asset packages, but that venture wasn’t successful. The intention had been to build my own environment. Changing the environment at this stage would mean starting again, which was the original plan. However, I ended up investing more time into this scene than initially intended. In hindsight, it would have been better to create a scene that only interacted with the floor, as that would have allowed the animations to be imported.

Just wanted to add that this was probably one of the most technically impressive scenes I've ever toyed around with. Transition system is really cool. Also, there wasn't an option for this but: I liked the animations but less sold on the environment. The baked lighting looks really out of place with the custom lights you added. I added VAMifier and it did help tie things together but also killed a lot of what was nice about the environment to begin with. Not sure if you have any Blender or Unity skills, but I would recommend looking into mixed lighting. You get the nice baked AO/GI on the environment assets, but also VAM Atoms cast shadows naturally into the scene instead of looking like they're photoshopped in.

Early figures have shown that I have more VR focused users than I originally anticipated. I will get a working VR UI for the concept test ASAP!
