🎐Asakusa Adventures & Cheat Day Treats 🍓🐕 三社祭に行ってきました！

Hi everyone! みなさん、こんにちは！
Last week I had the chance to visit 三社祭 (Sanja Matsuri) in Asakusa—and wow, what an amazing experience! This festival is one of Tokyo’s most energetic and lively traditional events, and being there in person felt like stepping into a different world. The sound of taiko drums, the crowds cheering for the mikoshi (portable shrines), and the mix of tradition and celebration—it was so inspiring.
先週、三社祭に行ってきました✨ 浅草で行われるこのお祭りは、東京の中でも特にエネルギッシュで賑やかな伝統行事の一つ。実際にその場にいると、まるで別世界に入り込んだような感覚でした。太鼓の音、神輿を担ぐ人たちの掛け声、そして街全体の熱気…本当に感動しました！

Of course, no matsuri is complete without food! 😋 Even though I’m currently on a diet, I gave myself a little cheat day (don’t judge me haha). I couldn’t resist grabbing my favorite Ramune and a soft, sweet Ichigo Daifuku. There’s just something about eating daifuku in a summer festival atmosphere that makes it 100x better! そしてもちろん、お祭りといえば食べ物ですよね！😋
今はダイエット中なんですが、この日はこっそりチートデー（笑）
大好きなラムネと、ふわふわ甘いいちご大福を食べちゃいました。お祭りの雰囲気で食べると、やっぱり格別です🍓💕

I also discovered something new: square okonomiyaki! I had no idea this type existed, but it was surprisingly easy to eat and really tasty. Have you ever tried it? さらに、初めて四角いお好み焼きを発見！そんな形があるなんて知らなかったけど、すごく食べやすくて美味しかったです。みなさんは食べたことありますか？

And—this part melted my heart—there were so many cute Shiba Inu around! 🐶💕 I couldn’t stop watching them. Someday, I really hope to have a Shiba of my own. Just imagining taking one to a festival like this makes me happy. そしてそして…会場にはかわいい柴犬たちもたくさんいました！🐕💖
もう、見ているだけで癒されました。いつか、私も柴犬を飼いたいなぁって改めて思いました。自分の柴ちゃんと一緒にお祭りに行けたら最高ですね！
