May WIP

Alright, we’ve wrapped up Ganyu’s video. Based on my May plan, there should be two more videos this month—the ones you’re seeing in those two images right now (don’t worry, the official versions won’t have Toothless). Let me tell you what’s different about them. I’m thinking about going with a new approach where I split my videos into three types: short, medium, and long. Right now, in my definition, [Dutch Angle] counts as a short film, but it’s got more substance than [New Management After] or [Met by Moonlight]. You’ve probably noticed those two videos are basically the same animation looped for 20 seconds. They’re not really full animations—honestly, they’re just 0.833 seconds long. So, I tried making a 40-second animation with varied content, which is [Dutch Angle]. It’s non-repetitive but keeps production costs low, making it great for showcasing simple concepts or compositions. Now, let me explain what a medium-length video would look like—or at least what I’m planning for it to be. What you’re seeing is a scene from [Open Season R]. Basically, short films skip a lot of the process, and the last frame matches the first to create a seamless loop for the effect I’m going for (I mean, most people can’t handle their business in 40 seconds—if you can, you might need to see a doctor). But this looping does limit the animation’s progression. It means if I want to include a “release” phase, it’d have to be smack in the middle of the video, around the 10-second mark, since the release would take about 20 seconds. For my medium-length films, I’m aiming for a vibe closer to my earlier videos. You start with some buildup to set the mood, then in the middle, we get to the main action, and it wraps up with the release phase. Unlike short films, the first and last frames of a medium film won’t be the same, which gives me way more room for variety. With [Open Season R], I’m planning to test if this experimental approach actually works. Finally, we’ve got the long videos. Basically, [New Management] is a true long video—it’s a whopping three minutes with a full start-to-finish performance, covering pretty much every event in the video. But as I’ve explained in earlier posts, doing it this way doesn’t actually make the video more engaging. So, I need to tweak what a “long video” means. With Ryo’s video, I’m gonna try something new. I know what you guys want: more poses, more camera angles, and a relatively complete storyline. That’s the whole point of a long film. So, I’ll focus on switching up poses and angles while skimming over the event details. For a good reference, check out [Stream Sniping 3]. I packed that one with a ton of poses and different playstyles. Then, in [Stream Sniping 5], I added a short storyline. So, Ryo’s video will probably be a mashup of [Stream Sniping 3] and [5]. It’s an experimental idea, but I think you’ll like the changes. Of course, we won’t know if it works until the video’s done and you guys give me your feedback. So, let’s look forward to the next two videos and see how they turn out. If you have any questions, feel free to drop them in the comments below or join my Discord server. man

我認為只要適當的控制內容應該是可行的, 我還在嘗試有沒有辦法將這個模式變成一個常態的更新計畫

所以,隔一段时间还是会有出长视频的计划是嘛
