So, to recap, what happened with this one was: I posted a WIP for this, decided I didn't like it, did a redraw from scratch and wound up with an earlier version of the image you see above. Then I changed my mind about the original WIP, and decided to just go ahead and finish them both. Now we have a little two-parter. Whew!
Thanks again to members who left nice comments and gave me the extra boost I needed.
