2025-10-13 11:11:38 +0000 UTCFirstly.... I'm pretty sure relationship anarchy is about trying to remove heirarchy from your relationships rather than just doing what ever you want. Secondly, I have been in a polycule. I don't regret it, but I wish I had been more prepared going in. My polycule fell apart and we all split up and went our separate ways and it was DEVASTATING. Im monogamous now, but honestly monogamy is hard. Not because I'm a lusty demon, but because I am afraid to be stuck to one person forever who might not love me or take care of me or who may use me or abuse me. Monogamy takes a lot of trust. Polyamory does too. Also just FYI we had a super expensive relationship as a group and we had to CONSTANTLY test for STDs which I don't think people talk about as much. But I think we should destigmatize that part of it too.
