To simplify the admittedly weird shit I am saying, to me asking "What is the meaning of life?" Is like pointing to a dog in the park and asking "What is the meaning of that dog?"

All the people who struggled with this question for millennia are stupid and I have come up with the correct answer because I am smarter than them.
My answer: The question is unanswerable nonsense because it is an ill formed one that I think is the result of an unintuitive mistake about what "meaning" is. Also, you already cared deeply about things like pleasure and loved ones when you were a small child before you could even ponder concepts like "meaning", so why do you even give a shit?
My reasoning:
All words and concepts are social constructs. Some try to represent mind independent things and others are purely mind dependent. When we we refer to "life" at least sometimes we are (poorly) trying to describe a mind independent thing. Things like "meaning" and "purpose" are purely conceptual, mind dependent things. We typically use them in reference to man made ideas and things (words, stories, tools, etc).
It makes no sense to apply these terms to the concept of "life". This is just some bullshit confusion you all have learned either implicitly or explicitly through social interaction/use of language. Since we fail to see this error, the lack of cohesion when we approach the topic distresses us, but really, if you think about it, it probably has very little to do with what you actually care about.
You can all suck my dick now.

My two cents - the meaning of life is what we determine it is for ourselves. So there is no ultimate meaning of life, no absolute. It's whatever meaning we give to it. So stop and smell the roses, enjoy the little things, try to be nice to others, because all in all nothing we do matters so don't be a c*nt.

Nhilism and anarchism have little to do with each other and you could hold one or the other or both. The russian political nihlist movement was an anti-collectivist "left-wing adjacent" anarchist movement

I feel like it's a mix between Nihilism and Anarchism. Life overall has no meaning and we are but a blip of life in an otherwise mostly empty world, so because of that, you shouldn't let any person, religion, government or corporation rule over you in your short existence.

TJ!!!! TJ!!!! The meaning of my life is to worship you! I shall sacrifice myslef upon the alter, and spill my blood in your name! Or nihilism like you said, but I too like the comforting mental gymnastics of absurdism.

The meaning of life is to survive long enough to reproduce and carry on your genes and rear your offspring to an age of independence so that they can do the same ad nauseum until the sun dies and the planet becomes uninhabitable.
