They weren’t “exclusively” covering the news before; they would spend an hour and a half or so on it, and then move onto “bonus” or “silly” content, so your comment is false on the face of it. Lastly, imagine calling someone “chronically online”, and then telling them to go watch more content creators. I don’t want to watch other creators; I want to watch these guys cover the news. There’s countless leftist podcasts and news channels that they can’t add anything special. They still cover the news.
