Pain = DFF #457

Pain = DFF #457

Hey this may be too late to say, but I lived with a similar situation going on a year all while learning to move more efficiently. This has allowed me to recover to normal without any surgery. It was slow, miserable had ups and downs but I am glad I just stubbornly lived with it. I would say I am at a permant 95ish% back health now and gyming. I don't know your situation but if its only been a couple of months or less, if may I would like to suggest that you hold off for a little while and see what happens and not rush to surgery if you have, best of luck.

Getting my first back surgery in November, probably the first of many cause I’m 24 and I’ve already got 2 badly herniated discs. I share Paul’s hatred for my spine, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could completely rip it out and replace it with a titanium robotic spine. Great episode lol, very cathartic

I'm alive and I got nothing but time to enjoy the content, so thanks for keeping me distracted from it guys! ❤️

Damn, sorry to hear that man. Hopefully, you enjoy this episode even if it hits close to home right now.

This is fitting because I'm recovering from a car wreck and I broke my pelvis and ribs.

Mort Sahl would be a worthy person to look into. Not sure if there's enough there for a whole DFF, but he definitely was an influential early North American comedian.

Austin Snyder

Love the episode. Interesting insight into Paul’s life arc and his attraction to Daoism.

excellent episode TJ ! however, it feels like “Pain & Suffering” would be a more suitable title, and it’s sexier.

Nocturnes and preludes

Fun random fact that popped in to my head. Each Nolan Batman film has a single word theme and a villain that embodies it. "Batman Begins", fear (scarecrow), "The Dark Knight", chaos (the joker), and "The Dark Knight Rises", pain (bane).
