Hey this may be too late to say, but I lived with a similar situation going on a year all while learning to move more efficiently. This has allowed me to recover to normal without any surgery. It was slow, miserable had ups and downs but I am glad I just stubbornly lived with it. I would say I am at a permant 95ish% back health now and gyming. I don't know your situation but if its only been a couple of months or less, if may I would like to suggest that you hold off for a little while and see what happens and not rush to surgery if you have, best of luck.

I share Paul’s hatred for my spine, there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t wish I could completely rip it out and replace it with a titanium robotic spine. Great episode lol, very cathartic
