How to use your Private Server and Early Access benefits

Hello all!

There's been an influx of new folks lately (thank you for the support!) so I wanted to whip up this quick post describing how to access the Tier 2 private server and some things you need to know when using it.

How to access

• The private server lives at https://beta.light.gg 
• You must properly link your Patreon account with your light.gg account in order to access the private server. Follow the instructions on this post if you're having trouble getting your accounts to link up.
• The private server is where you'll go to gain Early Access to new features as well. When there's something new out there to check out, I will usually send out a ping in the #tier-2-lounge on Discord to give everyone a heads up, so be sure to join up there too! Useful things to know about the beta environment

• This server uses the same database as the live servers, so any reviews / upvotes / downvotes / etc will show up in both places.
• However, due to how Bungie handles authentication, the private server has a separate credential and will show up in your authorized apps as "DEV light.gg". 
• This phenomenon of "same database, different login" can cause weirdness when switching between the live and beta site. If you find yourself receiving Bungie API permission errors on one site or the other, the fastest way to fix that is to sign out and back in. Clicking this link will do that for you. 
• Locally stored settings (like Roll Appraiser preferences, whether or not to show/hide certain tips, etc) are currently not shared between the live and beta sites. I eventually hope to store settings in the database and sync them across your devices, but for now, your best bet is to either stick to the live server or the beta server as hopping between them can cause frustration.
• There are two channels in the Discord server specifically for the beta environment:

#beta-bug-reports - the place to report, well, bugs that you encounter on the beta site

#beta-status - the place to watch for updates on the beta site being up/down/etc.
